I understand they are often short of a pharmacist but they close at random times even though their website says its open. If you get a repeat prescription from the doctor you have to allow at least four days, sometimes more and even then they don't have it ready when you arrive and you have to wait 10-15 mins whilst they do it. It would be better if they simply make a proper statement on their website - CLOSED FOR LUNCH sometime between 12 and 2. Don't come and get your prescription until 5 days have passed and then be prepared to wait up to 15 mins for them to do it. I have already said I understand they are short staffed but why? Do Lloyd not bother? Can they not get staff? Do they not pay them. If its too much bother for them to operate a business why not just close it and be done with it!

Staff always very friendly. Happy to help with any questions I have. When taking in prescriptions if on the rare occasion that there's anything they don't have in store, then its usually next day. Usually very busy but the wait times aren't very long as the staff work hard to keep things moving. Basically all you can ask for from a small local pharmacy.

I’d say that in my experience about 50% of the time that I turn up to collect medication the place is closed during hours that both online and on the window of the pharmacy itself say it should still be open. Only to find a note on the door with an excuse. It’s unprofessional and misleading. Many people need their prescriptions to get by comfortably and rely heavily on you being open in the times given. Would it not be more fitting to have an automated text service to send to all service users who are registered there if there is a last minute change to opening hours?

I have no problems with the staff as they are nice and helpful - but they are ALWAYS closed due to having no regular pharmacist and it's just ridiculous. It has been like this for a few years now... how hard can it be to hire a pharmacist ?

Even when they DO have a pharmacist, it normally takes at least 3-4 days for a prescription to be ready, and even then I've often gone in and they've told me to wait 20 minutes or so (I usually go to Tesco) while they actually prepare it!

Lloyds - if you or the franchise owner cannot manage this pharmacy properly, close it and hand it over to someone who can e.g. Boots!

20% success rate when visiting this pharmacy *inside* opening hours. Four out of five times I've been disallowed to obtain my medications.

Friendly and capable staff... when there are any at all!

Often has no pharmacist and closes without notice. Definitely a bad choice to have electronic prescriptions sent to.

I turned up for my flu jab appointment to find a sign on the door saying that there would be no flu jabs that day as they did not have a pharmacist.

Seeing as they have an online booking system for flu jabs (where they took my email and number) surely they must have a way of contacting people with appointments to save them the trouble of turning up.

I am a fairly young and able bodied person and I am able to book my flu jab elsewhere. However, this situation would have been far more inconvenient for someone who was elderly or disabled who had made the journey, only to find out their appointment was cancelled.

There must be a better way. I hope Lloyds Pharmacy review their current practice.

Staff in store are lovely and it's not their fault, but they are very understaffed and there is no regular pharmacist. Despite this, the website is booking pharmacist appointments that they cannot fulfill when you arrive, which means having taken time off work for no reason and then having to try to do so again. Massive waste of time and resources, and community immunity for flu etc is inevitably going to be affected. Poor show that Lloyds will not change their booking system or proactively cancel appointments until the staffing is resolved.
