Well Plymouth - Old Laira Road

Never been to a chemists anywhere in the country as determined as these, to NOT sell you medicine! Many occasions I've walked out while they explain why my child can't have cough medicine, and more than once been told they've never heard of medicines. Use Tesco, can buy it all straight off their shelves.

Worst chemist I’ve ever known. Majority of the time they don’t have what has been sent on your prescription and have to wait a few days while they order it. Not great for a chemist that’s meant to have this stuff in already! This isn’t just once it’s been several times me and my daughter have been left without medication because of this. If your lucky enough and they have your medication your then left waiting for ages while they chat in the back. Don’t even bother going there if you are wanting to buy anything over the counter for your child as the majority of the time they’ll turn you away. They don’t seem to care about leaving people without their prescription medication for days on end. The place is a complete joke!

Staff are dopey as hell they are constantly to busy chatting away. Needed my depression tablets because she couldnt be arsed because its closing time tried to use the excuse the "system down " yet said press control delete to log in as seen for myself. They have terrible customer service skills . They take forever as well answering the phone very slow pharmacy to busy in the back having a flirt with the pharmacist !!

Honestly my worst experience with a chemist, when I phoned the woman working today was rude and dismissive so me and my partner went to the pharmacy as I am in urgent need of the medication my doctor sent to the pharmacy, even after calling my doctor to confirm they had sent the items and that it was the correct address the same rude woman told me my life saving medication wasn’t there and I’d have to “deal with it till tomorrow “ as an autistic adult I am bad in situations like this but both me and my partner are disgusted by the way we were treated today, I don’t know the staff members name but it was the older woman that was working today

I’m amazed by the negative comments on here for this pharmacy. I moved to Well Langdale Place after 20 years at the one in Asda, due to how completely disastrous it had become. The staff in this pharmacy are helpful, polite and friendly, a far cry from the branch down the road. This is a community pharmacy which is what a pharmacy should be. It’s just a shame they can’t dispense something for the misery guts leaving daft reviews
