Always a problem and told to wait days for prescriptions to be dispensed. The customer service is beyond poor, they expect the customer to be well informed about their internal practices and the general availability of certain drugs. I will drive miles in future to not be treated this badly and will be raising the issues with Lloyds Head Office.

My last prescription was incomplete, the one before was late, before that it was incomplete and before that, yes, late again. I’ve been told ‘it’ll be ready in a couple of hours’ came back next day and it wasn’t. They keep blaming the surgery, the surgery blame them - leaving patients to ferry between the pair of them trying to figure out how to fix their inadequate system.

Today I stood behind a guy who had been waiting nearly twenty minutes to pick up his prescription only to be told it would need to be requested again as they didn’t have it. He was somewhat bemused as he had had a message to say that it was waiting for him. The woman said there was nothing she could do and he left. Two minutes after he’d gone, the same woman said ‘oh, here’s his prescription’ as though it was something that happens all the time.

Hopefully I can get the rest of my prescription tomorrow, at some point, if it’s turned up, or not late, or requiring me to visit the surgery again….who knows! Then I’m done. I’d rather drive into Exeter than put up with this shoddy service anymore.

Poor service, let down again today. Incomplete order. Staff always seem to not care 'they are busy' but doing what? Previously i was given another customers perception and all their details. This place is an advert for online ordering which is what I am going to do moving forward.

To close for 2 days after a bank holiday, when they are already late with preparing our prescriptions, is just the final straw.

Like previous reviews I have experienced incomplete prescriptions and now have to send a check list if anyone else collects- it would also be really useful to advertise on their website if they aren’t actually open ( today ) as I would have saved fuel, parking and getting soaked and now thanks to my working hours will have to wait a week to try again

Fed up with feeling like every time I need to pick up a prescription there's a battle ahead of me. Always blaming the surgery.. Always having to look in several places to see where prescription is stored..and not finding it. Regularly running out of stock and having to go back another day for the rest and I can't drive so rely on public transport.. Last time they text me to tell me my prescription was ready, I find it was only half ready and told to come back next day.. Another bus ride!
I look after arranging my elderly neighbours prescriptions for him. He has quite a few items to order. This week I've travelled 4 times for one repeat prescription.. They told me it was the surgery's fault. When clearly it wasn't. He'd been without his medication for 4 days. Every time I visit this branch there's a problem.you can see and hear the frustration of people waiting in the shop. Something has to be done about this branch it could cost lives.

Just moved to the area and I have never had any issues with a pharmacy before . I felt compelled to write this review due to such an unhelpful member of staff who seemed to take glee from being as awkward as possible. I must point out that this review is no reflection on the pharmacist on duty . This individual really does need help with her customer service role and this needs dealing with from a management perspective.

The staff in Lloyds Chudleigh do an amazing job under extreme pressure.
I worked as a locum pharmacist in a number of Lloyds branches all over Devon from 1995 until the end of 2012 (including several years as the regular Saturday pharmacist in Chudleigh) and the stress back then made me ill. It is far worse now! I think people are unaware that delays in receiving prescriptions, unavailability of sometimes "basic" items due to manufacturing problems, etc are beyond the control of the staff.
