David Foggs Pharmacy

Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I have visited on numerous occasions with my little girl to talk about worrying symptons. At a time when doctors surgeries are drowning with demand, Foggs staff are always so calm, helpful and honest. They are now my first port of call in the village!

I cannot believe Edwina Crosby's post!! My family has been using this Chemist for years and never have any of us encountered the attitudes described by her. I regard the staff as friendly and professional and would remind Edwina to treat people as she would have them treat her.

I arrived at the pharmacy around 7 minutes before closing time. At first they advised they couldn't find the prescription form (which had been sent through from the doctor 15 mins earlier whilst I was on the phone to the surgery). When I got my phone out to call the surgery and let them know it hadn't gone through, the pharmacist suddenly found the prescription, but advised that as they were closing (it was 5.30pm by this time) they wouldn't be able to do it until the morning. It was for Amoxicillin and Co-codamol, so items they would usually have readily to hand. They advised that I take the prescription over the road to another chemist which stayed open until 6pm, which I did. I just felt that for the sake of an extra two or three minutes, and in the interest of good customer service, it shouldn't have been too much trouble. Disappointing, really.

been a customer for 5 years always found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable about products .they have rules about time of picking up drugs which is ok with me I just forget sometimes so thats my mistake.

Staff are rude and unhelpful. They happily sent me to the pharmacy across the road as they were 'too busy' to help me.

My mother has been going to this pharmacy for about a year and normally they are very nice and efficient. However, when I went to go in and pick up a prescription for her, not knowing whether or not it had been pre-paid for, the lady behind the counter told me I needed to pay. I didn’t think anything of it until several days later when I was told that it had already been paid for. My dad went back to the pharmacy to ask for the money back as it was a simple mistake, yet they refused to give a refund, despite there being an online record that that the prescription had already been paid for, and their initial fault of not checking whether I needed to pay at all! Not impressed.

Very rude and sullen and their dispensing team 'behind the scenes' are bordering on cringey with their loud conversations totally ignoring their customers at the till....avoid!

These guys are fantastic. We've had close dealings with them for the last 4 years with Mum in laws medications, nothing has ever been too much trouble. Mum in law has since passed as has my Mum, all in under 3 months.They've sorted bags of unused medication with the most empathy and concern for us. Don't have enough thanks, particularly for Caroline, Julie and Michelle.
