Whitewater Pharmacy

Until recently I was very satisfied with the service from the pharmacy. I have my medication delivered due to how much difficulty I have getting to the pharmacy. This has always been very good with my medication (required to keep me alive) being delivered within a couple of days.

I have recently been very poorly and my sister called in for me last week to order my repeat prescription. She was told they'd be with me in 2 days.

A week later they'd still not arrived so I called myself and after being told I'd have to wait while the person who picked up the call finished what they were doing I was questioned rather rudely about my requirement to have my medication delivered 'Can't someone come and pick it up?' No... that's why I ask for it to be delivered. I was then berated about the last time they'd tried to deliver for not being in to answer the door (I live alone and was in hospital at the time).

So, 10 days after requesting my medication it still hasn't arrived. It's now Saturday and I am going away very early Monday morning so if I want to be able to take my (again, life preserving) medication, I will be required to pay for a taxi (I live on disability benefits on a very tight budget) to do so.

I am lucky in that I do have options available to me, I can pick up a phone or order a taxi if there's no other option. I feel sorry for older people who are perhaps left with this kind of service with no ability to do anything about it.

i understand everyones experience will be different, especially when they stock medication.

however, the gentleman working the till yesterday really went out of his way for me and helped me in a big way. id be happy to go into detail to let his employers know.

Having recently moved to the area, I have now tried using this pharmacy on several occasions, each one being a poor experience. 1st time I spoke to a very rude lady (ginger hair).. I must have been speaking in a different language, as many times I explained myself, she kept asking the same question, then finally gave up and walked off.. I then waited for her to return, to my disgust she said are you still here??? Unbelievable! Yes I am still here!.. 2nd occasioni tied calling no-one ever answers the phone at this place, it just rings and rings and then they put you on hold and deliberately cut you off.. wouldn't use this place ever again!!!

The place is shamboloc! My husband has been prescribed ensures (incidently he’s dying) and can only tolerate these drinks. Was told they don’t hold them in stock but they’d be in next day at 3pm I went back to be told they weren’t in and the delivery vans were stuck in the garage!
I had the misfortune to have to go there this morning to be told the same thing! They are incompetent at the lowest level rude beyond belief and the young whippersnapper who tried to belittle me this morning should have done better at school or she wouldn’t be working in a pharmacy that is not fit for purpose. I want a call from the highest manager or I will go further with this.have noticed anyone with positive things to say get a response but anyone saying negative thing are ignored… certainly makes you think

Friendly, helpful and open later than almost all other local pharmacies.

called over 100 times today and no answer. been chasing my daughters prescription but cannot get through to anyone.....

The team were very helpful and when antibiotics were out of stock during national shortage were able to suggest another which they had in stock. Lead pharmacist at the time was amazing.

Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience, that could of, and in fact should of, been handled a different way by the Pharmacy Manager. Very rude and very unprofessional. No opinion of the Pharmacy itself, indifferent, but the Manager needs training, immediately!
