Brune Pharmacy

I understand that pharmacies ask questions when you buy certain medications but I was weirdly interrogated at Hobbs over cocodomol I needed to purchase for back ache. As I had taken six tablets one day last week and hadn’t been to a GP immediately during a deadly pandemic, I was refused sale and told to go elsewhere to buy it. So by going elsewhere to buy it, I still end up with the medication that they refused me.. I have bought this medication many times before when my back has been playing up and never had an interrogation of why I wanted to buy it and have never been refused it. If they don’t want my money, then I’ll go elsewhere in future. I went to another pharmacy, was asked the standard questions, they had no problem with how many tablets I had already taken and the purchase was nice and smooth. So thank you Hobbs for wasting my petrol.

Terrible, was told my prescription had been put through to the doctor on 1st May. Today 11th May and after several phone calls last week I wastold that nothing had been forthcoming from the GP. On contacting the GP surgery I was informed that they had had nothing from the pharmacist, no request for my medication had been made, subsequently I have run out of a couple of my drugs. A script was finally obtained from my GP practice at 4pm today, not yet received by the pharmacy and that I would receive a telephone call tomorrow, another day later, from the pharmacy when my script would hopefully be fulfilled. I know everyone is stretched at this time, but this is ridiculous. I am 88 years old and very, very stressed over this.

This pharmacy has never let me down. The staff are fantastic, shop is always immaculate and the service efficient. I went to another pharmacy closer to where I live on six occasions and I’ll never go back there again. Glad to be back with the best!

Cannot thank the staff at Brune Pharmacy enough for what they did for me especially Alison who went over and beyond to help me. Thank you Alison for giving me the support and encouragement to get some help that meant so much to me.

I went to the pharmacy for some eye medication, they didn't have what I was prescribed, Which is fine, but the lady behind the counter wouldn't let me leave with Just nothing, she gave an alternative, but said will be on the system if it is needed. Some people would say we don't have it so we'll call you when it's in. But she took the time too find an alternative. There are people that appreciate your service.

I work in the NHS, I know how hard it is when people don't get what they want. And complaints can be demoralising, this isn't a complaint, this is a massive thank you, to the lady behind the counter. Great service.

This pharmacy has to be the best one in Gosport, whenever I have been in the staff are so helpful and friendly. Having had a few issues with a different pharmacy in the area these guys have helped me no end. Always more than happy to help and so reassuring and friendly. Lovely people 😊

This pharmacy is by far the worst in Gosport. Today they're only open half an hour due to 'sickness' meanwhile there is a lady in there sitting on her phone! I have had many issues with them in the past like my prescriptions randomly going missing.

Only TWO customers allowed inside at any time. Even if you want to browse... It can be a long wait... Surely the size of shop would warrant more easier access. You have to wear a mask anyway.
