Whenever my prescription is sent to Thrift Cottage I always give it a week before I collect it in the hope that by some miracle it would be done.

Ninety-Nine & a half per cent of the time they either lose my prescription or have not dispensed it. When questioned they are adamant that they have not received your prescription; you then have to go over to the doctors ( because Lloyds refused to call and investigate) only to be told by doctors that it was sent and are given proof of the reference and date it was sent to Lloyd's. When the proof of my prescription is shown to them my prescription miraculously appears in their system. No apologies given for wasting my time.

I was told that Two items were out of stock and they should be ready the next day. Because I know how incompetent they are I did not go back until one week after. Would you believe it, my items were not done and not only that they only had one. I was not happy, to say the least.

One word of warning, do not send your prescription to that pharmacy if it is for life or death because you can guarantee that they are going to lose it and, or/not dispense it. And whatever you do, don't expect them to clarify their mistakes because they will tell you point blank that they won't, and if you are looking for any apologies you are going to wait a very long time.

Thrift Cottage Lloyds Pharmacy is not fit for its purpose. Close it down or get someone else to manage it. There are so many disgruntled customers. You only want to be in the queue to hear what we all have to say.

One STAR is too high a rating

Staff are generally very pleasant and helpful. Waiting for prescriptions is a painful experience. The GPs send scripts direct and over four days later I still have to wait over 30mins for the pharmacy to do it. Not impressed with this pharmacy nor the online service Lloyd offer.

This has to be the most unorganised pharmacy I have ever been to.
Prescriptions are never ready, even when they have been with the Pharmacist for days. My Dads needs quiet a few different medications and so many times they have left something off what he needs, so you have to go through the painful experience again!
Would also be useful if they answered the phone!!
Go somewhere else, I do now!!

Went to get a click and collect on Friday, was busy so I left. Went back Wednesday 21st Sept, busy again, 1 staff member and 1 pharmacist on duty. Both of them telling us if its not important come back tomorrow as they have lives and families @ dont we all. Each person was there to collect something of importance to them, who should judge the importance??
I clearly told them to speak to their bosses about understaffing. I will avoid here in future.

The same experience as all the other reviews on here. The worst most disorganised service I have received anywhere ever. At least it’s consistent! The prescription sent over directly from the doctors is never ready now matter how long you leave it. They don’t do it until you turn up to ask. Then the dreaded wait for it having already queued up to ask for the prescription you have to queue again to collect it. Then items will be missing which you will have to go back for. Repeat queue to ask for the outstanding items and then queue again after a wait to pick it up. With one prescription I’ve had to go back and do the queue and repeat 8 times. It’s not the poor servers’ fault; they just have to front a host of very unhappy and frustrated customers; yes CUSTOMERS! An absolute shambles but their incompetence is adversely affecting peoples’ lives. I am a type 1 diabetic and have had a heart attack. Their incompetence has left me without medication in numerous occasions. No more will I stay loyal and hope it gets better. I’m changing my pharmacy. Lloyds management - you need to get a grip and provide appropriate staffing levels and training.

We appreciate how busy you are but you really need to get organised. It's a mess there. Customer service is shockingly poor with no appreciation for the queuing customers. Come out from the back and tackle the queue. You need some urgency and a warm welcome. A waste of the captive business Tesco and the health centre draws in.

The worlds end chemist. Staff members disappear from view for 10 mins to check on a prescription, always having to trundle up the stairs to check stock? Very odd system and totally Ill equipped to be next door to a huge surgery. I have to be absolutely desperate to come here. The only saving grace before was that they were open until 7pm before. Not anymore, also shut Saturdays!!

Totally madness at this service. You can wait over half hour to be served then end up having to call back because they haven't got my meds in ?
They should get professional staff , they are employing unskilled workers who no nothing about medications
