Boots Pharmacy

I have no doubt that the staff are extremely busy at this pharmacy and there are staff here who are kind and helpful. However, the overall sense is one of complete chaos and disorganisation. Prescriptions are rarely ready and in my latest experience it took 20 minutes to put 2 tablets in a bag and have it checked by the pharmacist. I was the only customer in the shop. It is extremely rare that the phone is answered, leaving you to take a chance and walk there to see if your prescription is ready. Having checked the opening hours in advance it is then extremely frustrating to arrive and find it closed with a sign on the door saying they have decided to close for lunch or due to unexpected circumstances they have had to close. If this happened only occasionally, it might be understandable, but this is a very regular occurrence at this pharmacy. It means people are left without the medication that they need. I wonder if more staff are needed to meet the demand on this small pharmacy in order that the needs of the community can be more adequately served.

They say they process prescriptions in 2 working days. Yet it usually takes at least 4, and they never text to tell you when it's in. If they do text, it's consistently one minute before closing that they notify you, so you have to wait until the next day.
My most recent prescription I have waited five days for now, and it's still not ready. No reason given.
I have been with this pharmacy for over a year (more fool me) and I can count the number of times they have had my prescription ready on time on one hand.

Expect a lengthy wait at the best of times, the service always seems to be incredibly slow. I waited half an hour only to be told that the prescription they received two days prior hadn’t been done, and could I please wait another 15 minutes. Unfortunately some of us have better things to do than stand in a pharmacy for the better part of an hour. Only reason it’s not a one star review is because they haven’t killed me yet.

Omg so bad !! Went there today and they closing 1 pm till 14:30 pm apparently short of staff! I arrive 12:54 and they close all ready ! Always issues when I collect my prescriptions! Maybe is time to move to somewhere else !

This is a terrible pharmacy. The lady was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They also rarely stock anything

The pharmacy was closed early at 5 instead of 6 two days in a row. Each time there was just a paper sign on the door saying closed early today due to reduced staff. I understand they might have people off sick but they could at least put up a sign saying expected closing times for the whole week so I don’t have to keep leaving work early to get there before 6 just to realise it’s closed already. Two other customers went up to the door to find it closed while I was there. Might just have to wait until the weekend now to try again!

Staff goes for lunch without warning, no indication of that online, today's really annoying!!!

My daughter prescriptions was issued 19th January 11,27am. I tried to call them for make sure they got the stock so I can collect it but no one answer the phone. Today 21st January 16.52pm I'm going to collect the machine. The receptionist told me need to wait 10 minutes, I say OK. Unfortunately I was there for 29 minutes to collect the medicines.Thats my first very bed experience in a pharmacy
