Staff are friendly, and will help, but very slow.
They need a bigger back room and extra help.
All I can say is, where is Lesley.
The pharmacy has improved drastically since I wrote my original review (further down), the newest Pharmacist is helpful, friendly and efficient as are the pharmacy staff. So far as I've noticed, everybody wears their name badges now so you know who you're dealing with.
Mistakes are no longer the norm and when they do occur are usually rectified quite quickly.
Original Review:
Generally friendly and helpful staff, with the exception of the pharmacists, the old pharmacist (Lesley) was extremely efficient, every pharmacist since he left has fallen well below his standards.
Medication is held onto for 4 weeks, yet you are moaned at by the pharmacist if you leave it longer than 2 weeks to ensure the prescription has been filled (it takes at least a week before it's available and even then you still have to wait for it to be fulfilled, often for around 20 minutes)
We have had to complain for being moaned at because a prescription was waiting to be collected for 3 and a half weeks.....so the pharmacist was moaning because the prescription was collected within the alloted 4 week time frame!? Even worse, she would have known the medication was for anxiety and high blood pressure, what a fantastic way to exacerbate the medical conditions of her patrons.
Nobody wears their name badges either, which makes it difficult to pinpoint individuals offering poor customer service and being rude whilst, ironically, standing behind a sign which reads "respect our staff"
I don't ask much, I've not complained about the long waiting times or the number of times my medication has even been incorrectly fulfilled, but when the pharmacist is making those kinds of mistakes, the least they can do is be polite.
