Generally a very poor pharmacy with a long turnaround time on prescriptions. Some staff are friendly and helpful and clearly do their best under difficult circumstances (hence 2 stars) but generally this is one to avoid.
Tesco pharmacy is better in every way and I'd recommend you opt for there over this one.

This pharmacy works tirelessly against the surgery. If there is a problem with collecting prescriptions it is down to the doctors issuing it! The staff here are amazing. Thankyou for everything you do

Absolutely useless, very rude, always claim they haven't got the prescription. God give me strength!

"Did not have prescription"...app advised ok'd last week...closed at 18.40...

I order my medications online through Patient Access, and then pick them up myself from the 180 Sandgate Road Pharmacy. The staff are very busy sometimes, which happened Tuesday 11th October when I would have had to wait 20 minutes for the items. I declined and decided to do the 20 minute walk the following day 12th October, only to find it closed until 3.00pm. There is no place to wait comfortably outside, so I will have to try again tomorrow. If the pharmacist is not able to be there to dispense medication, then surely it is up to the company to make provisions for adequate staffing so that a 76 year old isn't expected to make the journey three times. (I would have a postal delivery, but our letter box is too small to take three medications.)

Staff always look fed up and can't be bothered. Try to ring several times to ask about prescription....phone just rings out. Will be using another pharmacy in the future.

Fabulous experience. Staff friendly, helpful and patient. Event had my emergency prescription in stock while I was local on my holiday. My prescription was ready straight away for collection. Perfect thank you.

Gets busy in there at certain times of the day, a small chemist with a good range of health and beauty treatments with a busy pharmacy, closes at 7.00pm mon-fri.
