Absolute waste of time, incompetent staff who can’t request repeat prescriptions. They have let me down multiple times and won’t fix their own mistakes. It is deplorable behaviour and inadequate service from people who should be compassionate health professionals.

Very poor customer service . I had to wait over 15 minutes in the queue because this person infront would not leave and kept asking the pharmaceutical assistant about things. When she finally finished and left, the assistant did not apologize to start off with about the long wait and secondly , informs me then that their card machine is not working. Why was not a easily readable SIGN put up on the counter screen at first to let customers know in advance that the card machine was not working?

Awful service.
My 5 year old’s prescription was sent by GP, two weeks back and we are still chasing for these medicines. These are just regular medicine.
They literally have one staff to serve customers and she takes her sweet time to dig through the stock.
Whenever I visit there, I have to stay so long, for them to find my medicine!

I am put on hold for so long when I chase for medicine!!

Open 7 days a week and until 10pm. Friendly staff and helpful. Always have what you need. Good for local residents, not much parking near by.

I went to get a prescription. An old white lady was serving me at reception. She was very rude and condescending. It was my first and last time going to this one. She did not have any manners and was talking to me like I was stupid and then proceeded to have the worst attitude.

In a word, incompetent. This is not a hasty review - I have been using this pharmacy for years…partly due to the location and opening times. Whilst they functioned at an ‘alright’ level, they’ve gone to pot lately and standards have slipped so far, I need specs just to gauge. As someone who relies on repeat medications, I need to have an ounce of reliance on the pharmacy to ensure the medications I ordered (and need!!) are ready for collection. For the third month in a row now, they have missed my orders, failed to secure what I need - to the point I have had to reclaim my prescription from them (goes automatically from my GP) and get what i need from another pharmacy. I’ve ordered in time, planned for when I’m overseas with work and yet, Golds have managed to let me down…consistently. The staff appear lost trying to decipher some archaic system of paper and boxes of bagged medicines when trying to locate an order. Today was the last straw when I returned home only to discover one medicine completely missing and another duplicated. If you want to pick up some paracetamol, pop in - they won’t screw that up. Bit if you need a recurring service, look elsewhere to avoid disappointment. Poor show.
