Very professional and helpful staff, well stocked pharmacy. We use it regularly, the staff is patient and professional in explaining how to take medication and also very promptly ordered a more uncommon medication for me in the past. I also had my covid jabs here, again good experience. Very lucky to have this pharmacy in our neighbourhood.

I booked a booster vaccine at this pharmacy via the NHS website. I received reminder texts and emails the days before. I received a text on the day of the appointment to remind me and to say I could either turn up for my appointment time or walk in whenever. But when I turned up they were ridiculously unorganised and had no record of my booking. Despite me showing them the proof of my appointment they refused to give me a vaccine and didn’t even apologise for wasting my time. Do not recommend them to anyone!

I have used the pharmacy for basic purchases and the counter staff are generally helpful once you start speaking with them. Pity they all look like scared rabbits behind the counter the moment the bell rings and door opens. They look terribly wary, like they’ve previously been attacked or robbed, which is a tad unsettling. I hope this isn’t the case and they are merely being observant.

Today I was due a Covid booster vaccine but declined it (they are now using Moderna and I want continuity of Pfizer, which as a patient is my choice).

More specifically, there is no reason why I should be able to clearly hear the name, address, date of birth, NHS number and answer to underlying health conditions question, of the person in front of me. What happened to private consultation and privacy of personal information/ GDPR? There is a door, it should be closed so that the patient’s confidentiality is maintained. If you don’t think this is important, you are simply wrong and I strongly suggest you check your legal obligations in this regard.

Furthermore, the nonsense about keeping the door open to reduce spread of Covid is ridiculous. You know full well that anyone would be discouraged from attending the pharmacy for a vaccine if they were currently infectious, and that you would be prevented from administering such a vaccine to anyone known or suspected of currently being infected. The door closing should be standard so that private, personal information is not shared with random strangers. The onus should not be in the patient to insist on privacy.

I shall no longer use your establishment.

Really great staff at this place. Went in yesterday with very painful insect bites and whilst buying cream the pharmacist kindly insisted to have a look to make sure they weren't infected. Thanks!

Had my covid booster jab here. I walked in and was seen within 5 minutes. I didn’t want to wait too long 6 months after my second jab so the walk-in service was great. The staff were really professional and lovely. Can’t recommend enough. Get jabbed and protected! Thanks to the staff for a fantastic service.

Had my booster here today. A wonderful and flawless experience, from the gentleman volunteer managing the queue to the lady who is doing back-to-back jabs all day long. Super effort under such a lot of pressure, much appreciated!
