Tesco Pharmacy

Best pharmacy I been to. They are always helpful and support to get the right choice of over the counter medication. As they are open most days of the year it is really convenient to go to. I often forget to get my new prescription on a repeat medication I take but the pharmacy always sorts out the issue fast so I do not suffer any withdrawals.

I attended the pharmacy to day 17th February 2020 . The worst pharmacy. They have never improved. Only on very limited occasions I have use this pharmacy . They will say come back in 20 minutes . Standard phrase. When you go after 30 mins. they will say medication is being checked . Even after 15 mins you will not get the medication. That too they will say all of the medication not available . If you show your agitation they will go inside and smile among themselves . They will not apologise. They do not care . Unlike other pharmacy they will not ask you to wait to check if the medication available . While waiting I noticed some said they will collect it the following day or two days after. I do not know if there a box inside to indicate the medication not to be done on that day or marking when it has to be done

Terrible pharmacy. Poor communication. Have been using for years and will be switching. I had a prescription submitted on a Tuesday, approved by the doctor on the Wednesday, went to collect on the Sunday thinking that was enough time...told it wasn't there. Called the doctor on Monday and was told it had been sent Wednesday. Call the pharmacy on Monday evening and am told they don't have my insulin needles in stock and haven't had them for weeks so I need to call my doctor and get them to change to a different brand. I am now out of said needles and will have to reuse old ones (not good and dangerous) and will have to call my doctor to request a change....and best news, I am beholden to this pharmacy because I had to collect part of my order (insulin...also keeping me alive FYI) so will have to go back a third time and hope they fill the order urgently. All of this I could have done last week when it wasn't an emergency or even today..but apparently they don't call people because it would take too much time to call every person with an issue...and yet even when you come in to collect it they still don't tell you.... So when you are supposed to find out you need to fall your doctor is a mystery.

Note I would forgive this if it happened once but this is the second time. The same product but months ago (and have ordered it between then and now). Last time I was due to go on holiday and had to ring around out of hours doctors to find one who could prescribe something else.

A bit far from me. I don’t give them 5 stars because I have to wait for 1 months for my medicine to come.

Awful experience! If you need help and guidance this is not the place to go in an emergency! Pharmacist and staff incredibly rude and condescending. Left in tears!! They should be ashamed of the service they provided today!

I have recently used this pharmacy having moved from Zina,( went down hill after New owners took over,in the last year).These guys are great,the pharmacists go above and beyond to help,you never feel like you are inconveniencing them.I have been in several times to check health issues,for myself and my family rather than go straight to the doctors,so thank you all.Thank you to the front counter staff always happy to help and assust,huge thanks,you are appreciated.

Just wanted to say thank you to the Pharmacist who dealt so kindly with my Grandson on Friday afternoon 7th January. He was kind and helpful. Great customer service, sorry didn't get his name.

had a really nice flu jab here in 2020, bang on time. I had excellent service there. The pharmacy is usually ++ very very very busy ++ so don't expect to be served right away, plan to do your shpping and then pick up items after that. That is the way. They are very nice people but the system is just that way! If you want a more organised pharmacy try Boots but i find they never have anything in stock. With these guys they have most stuff but you need to be patient. There will be a wait of probably 20 minutes. I just don't mind myself.
