Park Pharmacy

What on earth has happened to this pharmacy. Collected my script last week. Waited in the queue for twenty five minutes Collected my husbands script today 22/9/22. Stood in the shop for 38 minutes. Saw about 8 people behind the counter, what were they all doing. How much time do they need. Desperately poor service.

Used to be fantastic, but has gone seriously downhill recently. Even if you put your prescription in a couple of weeks in advance they still won’t have made it up when you get there, and you’ll have to stand there in the shop for half an hour or so. Not great when Covid rates are increasing. They claim to be short staffed, but there’s loads of people behind the counter.

I will update this review if they improve, and get things back to how they used to be.

Wholeheartedly endorse the review below - and I can tell you what has happened: Karen, long-serving and extremely dedicated and efficient pharmacist left, along with several other truly wonderful staff. Service just plummeted.

The disarray and inefficiency are clear for all to see, and I would suggest that the situation is becoming dangerous.

Recruit some staff quickly and make sure that they're the right staff for the job. This service demands, commitment, care, attention to detail, efficiency etc. I haven't seen any of that in recent times.

Personally I've voted with my feet and changed our nominated pharmacy. I don't have time to sit/stand waiting for twenty minutes - or to return repeatedly for medication ordered in good time.

I see these reviews aren't verified - shame! Let's hope somebody reads them and takes note.

Appalling service....unacceptable. My husband was in critical care this year on life support etc...his medication is supposed to be delivered but wasnt....Friday he was told the medication would be ready ....its now Monday. Under staffed or whatever reason is unacceptable...medication is life saving for many people. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS SERVICE? Seriously needs new management ASAP

Was a good pharmacy now there are No staff, ridiculous waiting times even for prescriptions that have been sent in a week prior. Shall be changing to a different pharmacy.

I always use Park Pharmacy and have always found the team efficient and helpful. I urgently needed a repeat prescription to be filled but was unable to get to the pharmacy due to illness. A member of staff went out of her way to arrange for the prescription to be filled and delivered to my door the very next day. Thank you very much indeed!

Bring back Karen. Once excellent service has now gone. Whilst some staff try hard to provide a good service, generally it`s failing. Long delays. Mistakes with prescriptions. Many times unable to contact by phone! Maybe time to move to another pharmacy.
25/01/23 now...latest script delivered. only 2 tablets in each container instead of 30!!!! scripts very obviously NOT being checked correctly.
WORRYING........

Really gone down hill since Karen left. Often waiting half an hour to find out they don’t have it ready or what they thought was yours actual has someone else’s name on. Incredible unprofessional. This is not a one off event either. You need to go back to the professional set up you used to have. The last thing you want to do is wait around when you are unwell. You are attached to a brilliant surgery with fantastic doctors and you should try to equal their service. I know these are trying times but you need to be up to the challenge.
