I've been messed about with prescriptions multiple times.
I recently received my prescription for some important medication but when I got home and opened the box, the seal was broke and there was no medication inside. When I returned, they basically accused me of lying about it and said there's nothing they can do. So now I've missed 5 doses of my medication because they can't sort it and have accused me of lying, which I don't understand why I would (I've been at the pharmacy for 3 years so you'd think they know me well enough to know I'm not messing them about). Such a lack of empathy by many of the staff members that work there, no urge to try and help people at all and prescriptions always have a waiting time of 20 minutes plus, in which I have no idea why as my pharmacy in Birmingham is a 1 minute wait every time. I've never had the urge to write reviews on ANYTHING and this is my first bad review ever written... so let that sink in. They also never answer the phones; 20 times I called today and no response, so God knows what I would do if i had covid and had to self isolate. Just an all round lack of customer service with no empathy to help people. I've only been treated with respect a few times by certain members of staff, as the rest purely don't seem to care. Customers always end up waiting for ages to be seen to as well, as they don't have anybody who is specifically allocated to the front desk, so if there's a few people in there in the queue, you could be waiting for 30 mins plus just to pick up a prescription. They need a Gordon Ramsay equivalent in the pharmacy world to help them sort the business out.
But, these guys never answer the phone. Instead, they allow you to make the journey there, pay for parking. Then tell you, Yes, the Doctor has placed the order. But, come back tomorrow as they cannot dispense it. Even though it was an hour and fifteen minutes before they closed. Now, I already knew that my Doctor had done this order first thing in the morning. Because I had a confirmation email from Patient Access.
However, I went away quietly and politely. Then, tried again the next day. Once again, I attempted to call several times and got no answer. So, off I went again to the Pharmacy. And, you guessed it, the prescription was not done. By this point I had to explain that I have been calling with no answer and that this is the second day that I have have had to do this. Eventually, the Pharmacist did get my prescription together for me. Then, handed them over, providing the worst experience that he could. No eye contact whatsoever and on top of that, he handed me a slip saying that I need to come back again in four days time to pick up some items that they couldn't supply to me from the prescription.
I have to say, I have moved to this Pharmacy after moving house earlier in the year. Every experience attempting to pick up a prescription from this Pharmacy has been similar to the experience above. My Pharmacy that I used to use, was infinitely better.
So, I will say to anyone. Avoid this Pharmacy at all costs.
After my experience today and the previous experiences. I will never go back there again!
There's plenty of other Pharmacies to choose from in Chester. Oh and if you are wondering who my previous Pharmacy was, that was significantly better. They are, Lloyd's Pharmacy at Sainsbury Supermarket in Boughton, Chester.
