The slowest pharmacy I have ever been. Went to get some migraine tablets (on a Sunday at 8pm, queueing outside) and had to wait more than 30 mins to get serve. The card machine was broken too and they did not think of putting up a sign so people didn't have to queue for 30 mins to realise they could not pay by card, get cash and queue again... When It finally was my turn the shop assistant (only one) informed me it was her break and disappear...so had to wait for another 14 mins until she was back. Awful experience.

Tried to book a flu jab twice. Received email confirmation both times. Showed up for the appointment the first time to find a sign on the door citing some emergency closure. Fine, I get that stuff happens, but there was no notification that my appointment was cancelled. Rebooked for the second appointment (had to wait a month for the next available appointment), showed up early and waited in line for 45 minutes to find out that they inexplicably cancelled my second appointment as well - also with no notification! It's unbelievable that the pharmacy cannot be bothered to communicate this kind of thing!! It's not like they don't have my details in their automated system! Very annoyed and will not come back.

Appalling service, always seem understaffed and tracking down your prescription is a haphazard affair which involves seemingly just looking everywhere. Doesn't appear to have any system for keeping fulfilled prescriptions organised or readily available and that's provided they've bothered to get them ready at all. Today I had an appointment with the surgery next door for which I needed an item the surgery had ordered from the pharmacy two weeks ago and should have been handed to the surgery reception. I turn up for the appointment, the nurse looks for the goods, doesn't have them. I have to go next door and queue for twenty minutes while various people try to find it, no luck. An assistant eventually says it's out of stock and has been for two weeks. The nurse ( who's joined me ) and I are flabbergasted, it didn't cross anyone's mind to let the surgery know??? So that's a wasted nurses appointment, a waste of my time coming to the surgery and we have to do it all over again! This is quite serious medication and should be given on a very regular basis. Total incompetence with no regard for the consequences!

Waited for hours in line for them to close 5 hours early resulting in me and about 10 other people not being able to get our meds. Came back the next day to queue for another hour and they spent 20 mins looking for my prescription and then proceeded to give me a medication I haven't been on/ordered for months. I would really recommend checking they've given you the right medication before you leave as unfortuntely I didn't realise until I got home. Really would not recommend going here if you have the choice. They're definitely very understaffed and seem to have little to no organisation within the pharmacy.

Booked a flu jab- waited 5 weeks. Got here- couldn’t do it. Told me to come back about 4 hours later. Did so and they still can’t do it so I need to rebook- I’ve checked - soonest appointment is in about 5 weeks and 2 wasted journeys here. I got enough messages reminding me about the appointment- they couldn’t send me a message to cancel it! Apparently their printer isn’t working. Will now get flu jab at boots. Rubbish service here

on more than one occasion my repeat prescription was not ordered by the stuff and I had to come multiple times just to hear "sorry, it hasn't come through yet" and then "sorry, the last order you made was 6 months ago". Cannot ever call them in advance, either line is busy or call gets rejected. Not to mention the constant presence of local junkies, the worst pharmacy I've ever used.

Recently, I was obliged to use this so-called chemist (in spite of local friends warning that me it was atrocious) as it was the designated emergency late night pharmacy for south Bristol. There were barely any signs indicating the badly lit service counter at the side of the building
After I had waited for the obligatory poor soul in front of me in the queue to finish his little bad-tempered demonstration for being kept waiting for his 'stuff' (turned out he was a day early) the duty pharmacist politely told me that they didn't have the medical requisites I needed. So I made my way to the North Bristol version, where a barely polite person got me exactly what I required.
I know which one I preferred.

Getting a prescription at Lloyds is one of the most painful experiences you will ever go through. I would rather do 10 back to back spin classes at Luxe next door than stand in the extensive queue just to be told they dont have the medication you need. (Even when you put the prescription in weeks before) On top of this you're playing russian roulette when you got to Lloyds as they are constantly closing at random times due to staffing issues. This is not a one time experience, this is EVERY SINGLE TIME. Will be moving my pharmacy from now on. It is beyond a joke.
