ASDA Pharmacy

Twice I have had to come here to get an emergency prescription, one for my 6 month old baby who needed it urgently and took them half an hour to even start to get ours ready while having a screaming baby in the car, second for my partner for vertigo and while he was waiting to collect the prescription the person behind the counter was in the back chatting to another member of staff and ignoring the queue that was forming. Hate coming here for my prescriptions as I know we will be waiting a long time to get them.

Called 111 for help on a worrying issue and was asked to call up the pharmacy, phone was hung up several times and allowed to ring constantly, this went on for about 30mins. So i made the journey and turned up to the pharmacy and was instantly dismissed the 111 advice and was told to go to A&E with a 3hr wait, could've been sorted much earlier and easier by picking up the phone!!!

Unprofessional and rude staff that makes you look like you’re the problem. Avoid if possible.

Just got back from the pharmacy, they were amazing at helping me. I'd ran out of my anti seizure medication without realising, due to royal mail not delivering my prescription despite ordering well over a week ago. I thought I still had another box, but realised late Sunday afternoon that I didn't, and was travelling abroad early the following morning! After trying tescos who were very unhelpful, I phoned asda and they were great! The gentleman there went out of his way to help me, even though it was last minute, not long before he was probably due to be going home. He was so friendly, and patient, and thanks to him I've got the medication I need! So I would definitely recommend these guys if you're having a crisis!

I use this farmacy at least 4 years, never seen so unprofessional, rude and lazy, staff that makes you look like you’re the problem. Taking a side the 2 English lady's and the bold Indian gentleman with glasses witch they're lovely and very helpful. The rest avoid if possible.

Rude, unprofessional, indiscreet and slow service.
Waited 1 hour for two items, one of which was not in stock.
Asked to suggested another probiotic to which Pharmacist said “ I’m NOT A DOCTOR, I cannot suggest anything for prescription.”
20min later Pharmacist comes back and CHALLENGES MY DOCTOR’S PRESCRIPTION! saying HE THINKS ANTIBIOTICS DOSAGE IS TOO HIGH. - never got any of the prescription items, simply left In disbelief 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I was there 5 times for medicine, but 4 times they didn't give for me nothing. If i go there any papers from doctor, they don't help. They not helpfull. Specially couple of gentlemans.

Pharmacy staff are incredibly poor at the their job. They WILL try to oversell you a medicine over the counter that does come in smaller/cheaper packs w staff/pharmacy are clearly uneducated in brand name vs generic name packs which have the same ingredient. Atrocious really.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from pharmacist when trying to resolve the issue, kept interrupting and talking over me. No apology either.

Avoid this pharmacy unless you want to to deal with incompetent low rate staff who have no etiquette or pharmacy/medicine knowledge. Shameful.
