Thrapston Pharmacy on the high street. Open 9-1 and 2-6. It does shut for an hour at lunchtime. Usually pretty quick at making up prescriptions. The pharmacy staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have advised me on many occasions. They have a large selection of medical / first aid type products. They also have a selections of toiletries and gift boxes.

Been going there for years. Unfortunately there is particular staff member who serms to regularly have a very rude manner about her.
I got told off for picking up my prescription after I'd rang earlier in the day to check it was ready and was told I could pick it up.
Then when leaving was told it was a pleasure serving me but in a very sarcastic voice.
Shame rest of the staff are nice.

Not sure why all these recent reviews are so negative. Maybe I went on a good day, but I had no problem picking up a prescription for a controlled drug that the dispensary at the doctor's surgery didn't have. Parked on the street directly opposite, no queue, staff were fine, didn't have to wait long for the prescription to be dealt with. If you want to know what real waiting is like, try the pharmacy at Kettering General Hospital!

I really want to love my local pharmacy but sadly the service is abysmal. It would be great to have a local facility that worked with the community to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Instead, we have a pharmacy that lacks basic communication, empathy and responsiveness. It’s a shame that I feel compelled to travel further afield just so that I can have a positive experience but sadly that’s what it’s come to. I’ve no idea what all the staff in the building are doing half the time but it’s certainly not putting their patients first!

Friendly, helpful, professional and pleasant, this pharmacy. They coped well with grandparents, picking up a prescription for a sick granddaughter without any problem, which the doctor had passed on.

Good range of usual pharmacy products but as I waited for the prescription to be made up on a busy afternoon, I overheard them helping other customers. A friendly word for a regular woman and enough staff on to cope with a queue.

Masks are required when entering this business.

I find this pharmacy to be unwelcoming and is not a place I go unless absolutely necessary. I try to use out of town pharmacies when I can. Politeness, kindness and empathy could go a long way. When someone talks quietly it might be because it is a personal and sensitive subject to them. Don't embarrass them by responding loudly and without sensitivity

Sadly every time I have to pick up a prescription I have to wait. I have a repeat prescription and always allow several days from the doctor sending it to collecting. Always ‘we need to find it’. Today for example, 7 people came into the shop after me for prescriptions, some had to be made up, all left before me. Staff are not the most welcoming - almost feels like an inconvenience.
