Every time I go here they tell me they don’t have a prescription for me, I have to tell them to look again then they find it. Every single time. But complain and you are told you are rude and it’s just your experience anyway, everyone else is fine. A brief glance at their reviews here should tell you that simply isn’t the case and I have been waiting in their store whilst others complained multiple times. They are deaf to the reality of the ‘service’ they provide and will blame everyone but themselves for its poor quality. Staff are also rude, slow and unhelpful. Seriously just do yourself a favour and go to cowbridge’s other local pharmacy, the service is streets ahead. I won’t be going back to Lloyds ever again!

The Staff are always so helpful and friendly even though they have to deal with rude customers everyday. I think they need to be given an award and a pay rise. Lovely people

Pharmacist extremely rude. Waited 25 mins for a prescription, which fine, but no apology, then extremely rude to me as 2 names were called at once, 1 by the pharmacist, 1 by another staff member. I answered yes, not knowing which staff member had called my Wife's name, the pharmacist asked for an address, which I began to give, before the other staff member appeared next to me with my prescription. The Pharmacist proceeded to tell the other staff member (not a nice tone) that I had already said yes to a different prescription, I tried to explain I hadn't, and was met with " I called (name of other person) YOU said yes!!" and walked away. Really nice attitude from a senior member of staff. Would definitely not use again if I can help it

Would give 0 if able too. This is the worst chemist I've ever been to! The staff are unfriendly and just can't be bothered. They constantly blame the surgery for missing prescriptions then when you go to the surgery and they say we sent it over 2 days ago low and beyond when they actually bother to look properly the prescription turns up. But worst of all I went in to get my daughter's some throat spray I specifically told the woman on the till that 1 of my daughters is asthmatic she gave me strepsils throat spray and sent me on my way. When I went to Sylvia Williams to get my prescription filled PROPERLY the chemist there told me the spray could trigger an asthma attack and was also out of date!!! She sold me something potentially dangerous to my daughter absolutely disgusting and the response I got was a giggle and a half hearted sorry!!!

The phone is almost always engaged, so it's exceedingly difficult to order in my prescription on time. I've been phoning them at various times of the day, for three days straight now. It's like the phone is left off the hook so they don't have to hear it ringing. I'm going to have to drive there simply to ask them to send my prescription form over to the surgery. And I know that when they eventually do send it over, they'll tell me it will take 7 days to have the prescription ready. World's slowest pharmacy.

Consistently Useless. Slowest service on the planet. One lady in the shop yesterday had been waiting 45 minutes.

Every single time I come to collect a prescription they tell me "it's not come over from the surgery". So you go over to the surgery, get the script and jump back in the queue, which could well see you waiting for an hour plus.

Yesterday I was asked if my 16 month old Daughters antibiotics were "needed urgently".

I don't understand how they can be so bad. Quite often there's 3-4 ladies working in the back and the place still runs at a snails pace.

Useless.

Having just started needing a repeat prescription for the first time in my life I chose this pharmacy due to location. Unfortunately I have had problems every month since the start. It seems that they don't have a system that works and they want to blame the surgery all the time. I have had to wait over an hour to get my stuff which should be a simple pick up. Last time they were asking me to run across to the surgery as they said they hadn't ordered my drugs. Surgery said the pharmacy had not put order into them. In the end I lost my temper and said that they should contact the surgery and sort the problem out as its not my job to do it. When I finally got my medication I was missing vital tablets and was told to get them from llantwit which were open till 18:30, they were shut at 18:00, so had to run over to tescos pharmacy in Bridgend and got what I needed. I swapped pharmacy to another after that but lloyds manager contacted me and said they were having issues with the computer so I've given them one last chance. However, I've tried to ring them to check my meds are ready and phone is permanently engaged. They need to sort themselves out.

Lloyd's need to seriously pull this team to the side and have a word. Their customer service is shocking. The 1 star is for the young trainee running around doing all the work, singlehandedly talking to customers and finding their prescriptions meanwhile the older ladies get 0 stars, as they are in the back, date checking and having a chat when the queue is 10 people long. I'm not sure whether it's due to their lack of organisation or lack of staff, but there is always a huge queue. The man before me had arrived first thing in the morning and ended up waiting an hour. Other customers complained that it's always like this, and I agree. The team, excluding the sweet trainee, do not have a consideration for customer service as a whole.
Something needs to be done about this. Why are we still date checking (highly time consuming) when you can enter dates on databases? There are robots that can identify where prescriptions are. There's technology out there that can tell you whether you have it stocked or not with a click of a button. It's ridiculous and inexcusable in this day and age.
