Pure Physiotherapy

I've been attending Claire's pilates for nearly 4 years now. I find the sessions really beneficial and my core strength has definitely improved. Claire explains all the exercises thoroughly and makes sure we all know exactly which muscles we should be using - and which ones we shouldn't! The sessions allow us to develop at our own pace, with different levels of challenge built in to each exercise. Thanks for a great service!

I was referred for physio on my shoulder and took the advice to try Claire’s beginners class. She has been brilliant, understanding my limitations and helping me adjust.

I am now regularly attending her intermediate class on Tuesday evenings which have helped enormously to keep me upright and my shoulders much stronger, my consultant is very pleased with how stable my artificial hip is as I walk more evenly. Thank you Claire

I have been attending Claire's beginners pilates class for over a year now. Being hyper-mobile, pilates has been transformational for my usual aches, pains and fatigue. Claire is a great teacher and with her physiotherapy background, she can easily cater/adapt exercises to your needs. The classes are kept small and friendly, which means Claire can give you her full attention each week. I would not hesitate to recommend her classes to anyone!

I have known Caroline for many years and her treatment for my neck and back trouble is brilliant and has really helped me. Caroline is friendly, highly knowledgeable and always gives great advice. She has helped me recover from various injuries using different methods and really cares about her work. The reception and admin team always provide a nice welcome and are pleasant to deal with too.

I was introduced to Claire for rehabilitation after an accident.
She has always been entirely professional and courteous. Despite her size, she has the finger strength of a prop forward and manipulated my muscles with ease.

I don’t often leave reviews, but I felt the care I received was exceptional.

My insurance covered me for three sessions but I saw a dramatic improvement after two, meaning my third session was focused on ensuring full recovery and long term maintenance. It was exactly what I needed.

My physiotherapist, Grace, was professional throughout, but also very friendly and easy to talk to about my general health and how it impacted on my physio issue. A credit to the practice.

Recently I had the misfortune to develop severe pain in my right shoulder. I contacted the practise and was seen very quickly and was diagnosed with referred neck pain. I had some immediate treatment to my neck and trapezius muscle and was given a set of exercises and pressure points to action. Within four days the pain has reduced dramatically and I am well on the way to recovery and back to Triathlon training. I received a follow up call to check on progress, which was unexpected and welcomed.
The service I received was first class and I would throughly recommend Pure Physiotherapy.
