Pizza Hut Delivery

All staff apart the owner are amazing. But the boss is clearly deluded as the staff have no choice but to put you on hold for ten minutes as The boss doesn't employ enough staff to cope with the volume of customers that ring.
You will be waiting ten minutes on hold. Your pizza will get to you, but only after having to deal with the long, looong waits. This manager needs to realize that a good reputation only stays good because of good staff members, but will not stay good if he does not employ enough if them. I have worked for the last pizza hut in Chorley that was on pall mall. It ended up shutting down for this same exact reason.

Rang to make a order... guy was unhelpful and didn’t provide a good service whatsoever.

I understand pizzas are set when ordered in a deal... but to my astonishment the chap could not remove the mushrooms on a ham pizza (farmhouse).

I know I could remove them however I didn’t want the mushrooms cooking on my pizza as I am allergic.

Food also took 24 minutes to come when he said it would take 5 minutes originally to make the pizza then said come in 10-15 minutes.

Waste of time, waste of money however young girl there was pleasant and even apologised for him being such a nuisance.

So first pizza hut in over a decade. Ordered a meaty pizza, garlic bread slices and the peri peri chicken wings. Now the chicken wings, very greasy, not much flavor or spice with the peri peri. Bit of a let down. The garlic bread slices where hard and flavourless and finally the pizza. Now it was cooked pretty well but all of the toppings taste the same. There isn't a variety of taste in your mouth it's just toppings. Even the cheese seems to have lost its flavour. Plus the added benefit of the staff being unable to sharpen a pizza cutter, your pizza is coming up in bits. Haven't had a full slice come away yet. For the money it cost, I wouldn't recommend going. You could feed around ten people from Romero takeaway down the road for the same price. After the ten year wait, I'll wait another ten before I try it again.

SUMMARY:
Bad attitude, terrible customer service and poor pizza.

DETAILS:
Ordered collection classic crust pizza large 13.5". Although the toppings were distributed evenly and pizza was well presented, the dough was undercooked and slightly raw.

Called to complain and they said I had to take it back and get another one. Told them I would bring it back and they can refund me.
On returning the first member of staff - who mauled and examined it - went over to the (apparent) manager and said "it is quite raw" - quietly, but not so quiet I didn't hear him.

The shift manager who then further examined it, tried telling me "all the pizzas go through at the same temperature" (like I had just landed on planet earth and never had a pizza before) and "it's cooked to standard".
I told her I don't know what your standards are, but it clearly isn't...

No apology on the phone, no apology in the shop, met with doubt, reluctance and moderate disdain.

Bad attitude, terrible customer service and poor pizza.

Suggestions:
Go to Pizza House (Bolton Street) or Domino's (Retail Park) instead.

Great food, reasonable prices.
Never had a problem after many orders, always correct and ready on time. Sometimes I even get called when the order is ready for collection early so I can get it whilst it’s fresh out the oven!

First and Last Order. £40 Order, 2 x Large pizza's ordered as is default (pan has always been default), both came thin crust covered with garlic powder? Called store to ask for a swap and it was refused as its what I ordered. I understand, but fuming default base has changed and 1 of 3 requested swaps was refused. I will never order again, Domino's far better.

Won't be going here again look at this they sent out to me looks like it as been cremated and the bloke behind the counter had no customer service skills and told me that's how they come and did not change it the order cost £28 no way will I spend money there again

My other half ordered as a treat for the family last night, my youngest had some of the chicken pieces as she's chicken mad and has woke up this morning chucking her guts up! The pizza was luke warm and just not a great standard considering the expectations you have of pizza hut. So furious that my poor little girl is now suffering in bed with a sick bucket to hand!
