Pizza Express

Popped in for an evening meal while staying nearby. Wife and I went for a couple of pizzas from the Romana base menu, kids had the kids menu. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Service was great. My wife downloaded the app while we were there and got a free portion of doughballs.

We decided to use some Tesco Clubcard rewards at Pizza Express and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were extremely helpful and even though we hadn’t booked a table they were able to accommodate us. The service was excellent as was the food. The restaurant was busy but staff were attentive and we couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience.

Popped in for a rare solo visit, and enjoyed a lovely meal with fantastic service. Restaurant was pretty busy with lots of families in and I was able to relax and take in the general busy buzz without the stress of keeping children amused. Love being able to keep track of my order and be able to pay through the app as well. Although I always like to check with a server that it has been received at their end before heading off.

This our favourite place. The prices are great. Even more so with the loyalty programme. The food is just, beautiful.

On this visit we had the opportunity of meeting the larger than life manager who was amazing and our server Alex was fabulous also. The manager treated us very generously as a new years gift.

There's not much more to say. We travel 70+ miles a few times a month just for this place, food and staff! We've done this for well over a year. If that's not an endorsement I don't know what is!!!

We came for a date night and booked easily online before coming. Service is quick and our server Olivia was really cool. She was incredibly fast and helpful (I also really like her tattoos) we haven’t actually eaten yet but I’ve been here before and it’s always quite good :) Thanks Olivia

Pizza Express knows best. That's what I always say! I asked for a pizza topped with milk, baked beans and petrol. Unfortunately petrol was not on the menu and Olivia advised me that it was not wise to consume. I think this explains the rapid hair loss that occurred shortly after I started drinking it - I was under the impression 'if it's good enough for my car, it's good enough for me!' Sadly this is not the case. Instead Olivia showed me and my wife a list of other pizzas, I chose five of them and filled my pockets for the next week with excellent slices. When the pizzas arrived they were shining with light. The spectacle brought me to tears and I had to thank everyone in the restaurant just for being there. Now I shall thank you for reading this review! Olivia deserves a bottle of prosecco for saving my intestines from petrol related diseases, and my wife from the funeral expenses! Bloody funerals so expensive these days...

Absolutely ruined our evening. Accepted an order via Just Eat then didn't deliver it, just closed up and went home. Left order in "waiting to assign driver" status for 2 hours, then at 11:30pm it suddenly updated with "delivered" timestamped at 10:15pm. It wasn't delivered, so then had to request refund. We were left without a meal and no apology or anything. They shouldn't have accepted the order if they couldn't deliver it, at least we could have tried somewhere else! Won't be using Pizza Express or Just Eat again. Absolutely shocking service.

UPDATE 24/12/22: As I cant response to their reply, I am editing my review. Pizza Express seem to think they're innocent and are "just a 3rd party", putting the blame on Just Eat. In actual fact, Just Eat are the third party and Pizza Express are the provider. They have a responsibility to make sure their processes work - and in this case they clearly dont. It's unacceptable to claim ignorance, they accepted the order and need to make sure they have the means to fulfill it. I dont see ANY apology from them here for ruining our evening, just sloping shoulders refusing to take responsibility, and we definitely wont be using their restaurant again, via Just Eat or any other way!

First meal out/inside since the latest lockdown lift and Pizza Express was NEEDED. Food was perfect 👌🏻 the halloumi bites with romesco sauce which are NEW to the menu are great!
