Pizza Express

Popped in to get lunch, pre-ordered off the website so there was no waiting at all. Food was still hot when I collected it.

I got the lunch side deal, halloumi bites and a pollo pizza wrap. The bites were great, just what I needed for a lunchtime pick me up. The wrap was alright, the dough to filling ratio could have been better in my opinion. Flavours were nice though.

It looked like there was a decent amount of seating inside too.

Extremely clean, lovley waiters who sat us and took our order quickly and our food came out fast as well. Standard pizza express chain- good food for money and amazing atmosphere.

Really disappointed with our dinner, we met 6 of our family and it wasn't an enjoyable experience. The wait was long for everything, we wondered if it was because the takeaway pizza
Set up was so busy it came befiore serving the diners! 2 of the pizzas were completely different to what we usually have, not so nice at all with different cheese too.. We wanted to pay 2 seperate bills and they made a fuss about that as well.. We usually love a trip to PE Sevenoaks but shall think twice next time ☹️

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Waiting staff were friendly and food arrived in good time. Had to ask a few times for a refill of our tap water but otherwise everything was perfect! I asked for an ingredient to be added to my pizza and it was really good - thank you!

Worst service I’ve ever had.

Where do I start? …Firstly the wrong drinks were delivered to our table. Our pizzas took 2 hours, I mean really how long does it take to cook a pizza, 10-15 minutes? After that abomination, we obviously weren’t going to give a tip, to which the waiter threw our receipts at us. Muppet.

Great pizza, but the service I received from the young blonde lady tonight was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced. She had no manners both on the phone and when I collected the order. I was perfectly polite to her throughout, and in return she was sulky, abrupt and acted like I was wasting her time. She didn’t apologise or offer an explanation as to why the order wasn’t ready despite phoning it in. Then when she eventually handed me the pizzas she shoved them into my hands without saying a word and stomped off. If this was my business she would have been fired on the spot. So disappointing.

This doesn't even deserve 1 star. We came for dinner on 06/01/23, arriving around 8.30pm. We were seated promptly but then waited ages with no staff coming to take any food or drinks orders. There were only about 5 tables of diners and about the same number of waiting staff. All staff avoided eye contact when we tried to get their attention to order. It was very clear that they all wanted to finish their shift rather than serve anyone in the restaurant. The table behind us had also been waiting since before we arrived and, when no one came to take any orders, they decided to leave and get dinner in Wetherspoons instead. Pizzas were nice when they finally came but we were shocked to see staff sat around on their phones while on their shift. We waited a further 45 minutes for the bill, as the remaining staff sat behind the bar on their phones. It would have been easy to leave without paying at all because literally no one seemed to care or was paying any attention at all. Usually love Pizza Express but staff at this branch need serious training in customer service. The Sevenoaks branch has lost our custom as no way we'll be going back any time soon. It's not a nice experience to be made to feel like all the waiting staff want you to leave as soon as you walk through the door. Service: I had to grab my own menus, the pizzas were 40 mins delayed, very salty and had hardly any cheese. All young staff with no front of house management.

Frustratingly ruined my evening and regretted spending money here. Worst Pizza Express I have been to.

I have also tried to go in twice before and they had run out of pizza dough by 4pm on two occasions.
