The Pizza Room - Mile End

This is a hidden gem with "Italian home made" feeling and taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pizza will give you foodgasm (according to my wife :))

Pretty authentic Italian pizza. Had the spicy summer pizza and I think the taste of the pizza was superb. Really taste the spicy ness and the juiciness of the meat and cheese on the bread. I finished whole pizza without any bread leftover! Well done pizza room! A great pizza place to come in east London.

With the chains, we had almost forgotten the taste of real pizza. They are really delicious and I loved the little attention to detail when they were delivered.

Our first visit to this restaurant and it was thoroughly enjoyable! We went late afternoon on a Sunday (last minute reservation via Opentable). Excellent vegan pizzas with plenty of choice and can have with or without vegan cheese and there is even a choice of bases. We had the Marinara with vegan cheese on a the regular base and the Green Day without cheese on the Schiacciata base - would have both again! The cocktails were great (we had aperol spritz and bellinis) and the staff, lovely! Will definitely go back again soon!

The pizza is amazing, hands down. Love the taste. The only thing is it gets busy because people love it, and the waiting time gets long. We had their pizza 3 times. Last 2 times we waited for at least 20 minutes for our pizza (it was friday night, thats probably why)

Insanely good pizza and great staff team! Will definitely be going again. The pizza tasted great, and have seasonal themes, with a spot-on crust! Very chilled atmosphere.

We passed by the pizza room on a weekday mid afternoon and was lured in for the 4.95 baby pizza ( 4.95 for pizza + 1 topping).

Pizza was good, but was up for a surprise when we asked to pay - the waiter brought the card reader straight away charging us a higher amount than expected. On asking for the bill, it turns out that we were charged the full price of both our toppings ( even though it was advertised as including 1 topping).

The waiter then say that the topping included was only for veggie topping, though nowhere on the menu or the sign did they mentioned that it was only for veggie toppings. We asked the waiter as to why he didn't tell us when we ordered but he blamed it on the menu ( which again never mentioned anything about the topping needing to be a veggie topping).

The waiter offered to take the 'service' off but the discount ended up being £2.5 less than the cost of extra pizza toppings.

It was only a few quid, but looking back it didn't feel right given that nowhere on the menu nor anywhere does it says that only veggie toppings are included, moreover the waiter should've told us that clearly when we ordered. It was also a bummer to be charged a topping price for a 12' pizza on a baby pizza which was a lousy tiny piece of ham, moreover robbed of the chance to get another veggie topping! All in all this can be avoided when the waiter has been honest with us when ordering.

I ordered for pick up on their website. It was a very quick no fuss service by a nice girl. I absolutely loved the pizza with delicious homemade dough and quality ingredients. I love the choice on the menu as well. I will definitely be back to try new pizzas!
