Nice location right by Castle. Service pleasant (only 1 cook & 1 waitress, hard working). Pizza just fine, pudding poor value for money, coffee good. 2 odd things: served beer (ale) with ice & lemon in glass ? and couldn't change £40 for £27 bill. Cards now expected?.

Visited with my girlfriend last week. Ordered the tomato soup (listed as a special) and the dough balls to start, followed by a pizza each. We were provided with some complementary tomato skins before the dough balls arrived. Tomato soup never came. Complained and the waitress asked if we "definitely ordered with her" and then made the excuse of not hearing, despite it being the first thing we ordered. Onto the main course and my girlfriend's pizza was raw. Dough was soggy, floppy and rather greasy. Complained once more and was told it wouldn't be on the bill. Got the bill afterwards to find that the complementary tomato skins weren't complementary, that the waitress had heard "tomato" when we were ordering and decided we meant them, not the soup. We were then told we "should have said something before now" before we reluctantly got them taken off the bill. Disgusting service and awful quality control for the food. Would not visit again.

The food was of amazing standard! But the amount you get compared to price is not worth the purchase in my opinion. Visit if you money to spend. 3 Stars!

Worst pizza I have ever had , it was cold and hardly any topping on it it was meant to have peppers spicy beef ect. Hardly any of the menu was available , the salad inedible, It looked like someone else's leftovers had been chucked in it . They forgot my starter the orders were all wrong., will not be going back . .ended up going for food elsewhere when we left as we were still hungry..

It is a lovely atmospheric place and for my light sensory problems it's not to bright in there. The food is always lovely and me and my fiancee enjoyed her birthday. Also nice staff will come again

Delicoius 3 course's of food we had at Pizza Express today. We sat and dine in, looking at the lovely view. The Swansea Castle, great service by Raimonda. Definately will come back again.

Great staff, the nduja sausage pizza is the BEST and fair pricing. Location is convenient. I come here for a cheeky date night whenever I can.
