Colne Road Post Office

Awful service at Colne road post office by Mr M Aslam and his daughter. They refused to take a parcel which had Royal Mail prepaid postal label on it. This is the third time they have refused to provide this service. I have obviously posted these packages via other local post offices no problem. This time I even went to the Burnley Royal Mail sorting office and they also said that there was no issue with the postal label.
Post office offers this service and you shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable using a service that they freely offer. When I asked Mr Aslam's daughter to put her reasons of not accepting my parcel in writing, she shrugged her shoulders and said "I am not going to put anything in writing because I don't have to." Then Mr Aslam called me over to his counter. I was hoping that as an elder and more experienced person he will resolve this issue but instead of resolving the issue he said he is not going to accept my parcel. He advised me to post my package in the letter box without any postal evidence. When I questioned him further he got really furious and instead of answering my questions he said go and complain to who ever you want. His body language was very abusive as he kept raising and waving his hand towards me and kept telling me to leave the post office. He also refused to provide information on the complaints process.

Love this post office. Pleasent service by both members of staff everytime i've been there. Very helpful. Could do with a bit of TLC though :-)

Not really a proper post office. It never seems to be open, the cash machine never works and they never have the standard forms that a post office should have. Go into town to avoid being disappointed.

This place is never open, even after calling them and they have expressed deep concern when I've told them I've been and they've been closed. The nearest other post offices are in town or Harle Syke. For none drivers it's definitely an inconvenience when they are supposed to be open Monday to Friday 9am-1pm.

These people barely ever work? I don’t understand why the post office is open at such inconvenient times and barely even open. How does this suit people who have full time jobs? The customer service from the woman with glasses is also abhorrent.

I went at 12pm this afternoon and it was shut ..I was shocked as the time has always been 1pm i always use it as it's in walking distance as I can't go to any other to far and no transport plus machine outside wasnt working .. ... have the hours changed please update them if they have thankyou

Really lovely members of staff. Always really kind and helpful and I hope this post office always remains at this location.

Think this place needs new staff. They close early and open when they want. For people who come to post office and find it's closed is maddening...
