Eastern Avenue Post Office

Have only used this for car tax renewal. No long queue like post offices.

Used this place a few times. Long queues with time wasters with nothing better to do clogging up the post office arguing about government letters or simple issues to the staff without looking online or by ringing up someone at home. Or selfish prats with a sack full full of ebay selling items individually pricing up at the counter without pre-paying and dropping off. lethargic difficult and rude staff. Do not go here if you want something sorted quickly, you will die of waiting.

Always plenty of staff on duty, sometimes long queues but dealt with efficiently, convenient because there's free parking in waitrose carpark and you can grab a bit of shopping or medicines from the chemist at the same time.

Very slow and understaffed. I've been here twice today, both times with slow moving queues of 15 people.

Far better than the awful Post Office in Southend High Street. Got served reasonably quickly but then perhaps I got lucky as there's always a risk that the customer in front of you are not as efficient as the staff.

Can get busy at times but normally served quickly good opening times

My son and I went there Sunday not what I would call busy compared to Tesco . A member of staff barged into me with a trolley didn’t even apologise just pushed my basket out of the way with her arm . She looked busy doing nothing if that makes sense. When I asked her what are you doing she just completely ignored me . Not something you expect from waitrose staff . Ive been in there many times staff normally very friendly and helpful I think the worse thing is simply no apology nothing at all .

Had a brilliant experience here recently after a shocking one in the thorpe bay post office. Served at the waitrose branch by a lady called Margaret, she couldn't have been more professional or helpful. Correct service with a smile, job done, happy customer. More people like her please!
