Letchworth Post Office

Don't use post office its rubbish, went to collect dpd parcel as stated open till 8pm. Arrived by 6pm to be told its closed no one there trained so unable to it.

Please fix the opening hours on the website and Google! Said they were updated a week ago and open on Sunday afternoon, I visited to discover they were open. In the morning but closed on the afternoon! I've found the staff polite and helpful but knowing when you can visit is so basic I can't give more than two stars.

Never open, with all the banks closed in Letchworth they should make more of an effort, Also if they advertise that they are open Sunday 12 till 6 they should be open or staffed by competent people that know what to do. Very bad service.

Terrible service and beware. Asked for a recorded delivery and they attempted to push me to guaranteed next day delivery for £10 which is totally unnecessary.

Try explaining what the options are instead of blatant pushy upselling. Are your bonus’ based on how much you flog now?

I sighed when I saw that my closest option to deliver a DPD parcel to was here. Echoing what others have said, do not depend on this place actually being able to do Post Office services, or parcel collection, as the PO counter has been closed for me more often than it's open. Excuses about sickness of trained staff don't wash when it's all the time, even pre-Covid. Was met this afternoon with staff who don't even help each other and a "can't do" attitude. They should not be allowed to advertise PO hours that they obviously don't have the capability to service. Willian Post Office is reliable, friendly and fast, use that if you have the choice!

This is to warning to customers who are thinking about using this post office, for their evening hours. Their online evening times are false!
Twice, now I have gone to post something in the evening, only to be told "There is no one trained in post office procedures, so the desk had to be closed". The girl I spoke to obviously hadn't had any training in customer service, either! She didn't even offer an apology. She was quite flippant and couldn't careless that it was an inconvenience to me and other customers, who were there to use the post office.
I suggest that if you need to use a post office, in the evening, find another one!
I should add that I have used the main post office, during regular, hours and have been very satisfied. The staff, always nice and polite. It's just a pity, that some of the evening employees, aren't so well trained.

Rubbish management, twice in one week I have gone to this post office after work. Rushing to get bits done, and they have closed at 5pm. Of which once I was actually turned away at the door by the guy working in there, pointing at his paper note sign..

If anyone experiences the same, report to PostOffice as people taking their time out of their day, going after work to get stuff done and they are closed. Providing false times.
