Products have prices, but then they charge 50% more on average when you get to the till, and become hostile if you try to point this out. This is assuming that you actually get to the till in the first place, because the queues are often 15 minutes long.

Rude Post master who refused ID as it stated Ms on letter as opposed to Miss on ID. Very unhelpful, and I was asked to leave as a queue of people waiting. Went to Chiswell Green PO and it was dealt with without problems by a very friendly Lady. I have to give 1 star to write this review - NO Stars in my opinion.

Very lucky to have this local amenity in Bricket Wood. Always friendly and helpful. Can sometimes be busy which could involve a long wait but for a small post office to manage extra staff for unpredictable demand would be impossible. Sometimes you just have to be patient or call back a little later. No worse than some of the large post offices with huge queues!! Products are reasonably priced for a small store. My kids can always find bargains there !

I hate giving poor reviews to a local post office as we have so few now. But, as these reviews show, he's friendly to his favourite regulars, pedantic and difficult with anyone else.
The pedantry is ludicrous - I've had several instances where he's insisted an item can't be posted or is overweight or 1mm under size, then another post office has had no issue with it. He's insisted an item won't fit through his plastic slot - when it fits fine when another post office tries it!
The lady couldn't pay cash into my bank without a ridiculously long-winded process - yet I've done it plenty of times at other local Post offices without a problem.
Sadly, despite this being our local, we now go out of our way to go to another post office, because of endless issues here.

Post office opening times 8am on a saturday but told to return at 8.30.

Sad to see some of these reviews as I have always found this guy top notch . Hes often trying to deal with 2 customers at once with a queue of 4 or 5 waiting at the Post Office section. I also understand he was one of those Post masters who encountered the faulty computer system for which noone at the top appears to have been called to account so please give the him some slack. Always found him patient, friendly and helpful under pressure.

Post office is efficient, well run and to date has never lost a single item I’ve posted there.

The guy is so helpful and yes sometimes there’s a bit of a que but it’s only village shop
