Aldershot Post Office

As 90% of these reviews allude to there is an elderly lady who works there and has done for at least 10-15 years. She is curt, unfriendly, expects you to know the exact rules of Royal Mail postage and is just horrible and barely looks at you at the counter let alone smiles. The other employees are fine and just do the job with I guess the minimum amount of enthusiasm you can expect. Ending to expose to you the power of a government (type) job and how it's close to impossible to fire a government employee otherwise that old lady would have been fired 15 years ago

Whenever I visit this post office the staffs are very welcoming, smiling and very friendly. They looked well experienced and it’s always easy go for me. They are trustworthy and I feel very comfortable. So I definitely Recommended everyone to visit and get a good customer service. 100%

Bad service, been there multiple times every time they were rude. The man has had earphones in every time, the woman very blunt. The man stuck his hand out and asked me to pay without telling me how much. Not good

The customer service is superb, Shah was amazing, he was like a captain safely brings her customer safe to shore.
He was patient and explained everything I needed to my understanding. Thank you Shah.

***I am adding to my original post. I find it highly suspicious that this place has received so many negative reviews and then all of a sudden there are people praising it. In most cases, the people who have recently left five star reviews have only done one or two previous reviews.***

I have not been to this post office for quite some time. When I attended, I was served by a man who appeared to be in his 40s, had black hair and I think he had a moustache. He was very nice and very patient because I had to ring someone to double-check something in relation to some items that needed to be posted. I often get quite nervous in situations such as this one because I do not want to take too long and my anxiety often makes simple things feel difficult.

I have also read some of the reviews about this post office and I think that it is concerning. Perhaps someone can have a word with this woman to ask if she is okay. If she is continually being unfriendly, then maybe something is wrong.

One of the staff, Shah bother really a nice person. Always ready to help with a smile.

Mr.Shah was very helpful this morning and of course the Indian lady whose been working there is always helpful too.
