Absolutely shocking service from miserable Post Office staff, No wonder why the Post Offices are being shut down.I will never visit this one again and I will advise ALL friends and family and YOU to NOT visit this post office EVER. I have been back and forth from Sainsbury's passport photo I.D 3 TIMES, only to have my check and send passport refused even though the guys in Timpson's in Sainsbury's loaded my photo on the official PO web site which was APPROVED!!! I even took a photo of the site to prove it was OK, but no the miserable staff still refused it , didn't smile, say sorry or offer ANY help!! Funny I got it approved at another PO

Customer service was nonexistent. They were more interested in talking between them about holidays rather than serving the clients. Absolutely shocking service.

Will never use again based on that experience

Oh and slow doesn't even start to describe their attitude to get the job done. I was next in the queue and still managed to waste 12 minutes in there.

I have used several local Post Offices - in fact probably all of them. This one has long opening hours, plenty of parking close by and on every visit I have made and every transaction I have seen, the service has been excellent. The staff are friendly and cheerful and have always been helpful. Yes, they do chat to regular customers as they work, but they don't waste time doing so, they are simply courteous. I can't speak for those who have given very low ratings except to say they contradict everything I have seen in my many visits there.

The shop is split into two sides, the regular magazine/newspaper bit which you pay for at the front of the shop. The staff their are friendly, a little slow at times, but overall generally a pleasant experience. The back end of the shop is the post office.. I’m convinced the staff are trained to be as miserable and useless as possible. I can accept that the shop would be busy at peak times, but any time of day you attempt to use the services, expect a long wait. The manager who has been working in the shop for many years, is possibly the most consistently miserable and sour faced person I’ve ever met. If you don’t like people and you can’t bring yourself to smile, customer service probably isn’t the job for you. Only use if desperate.

I'm shocked at the employees you have working for you and as to how anyone could possibly pick up or post a parcel through this place. I went in today to pick up a package and upon arrival it seemed no one knew what they were doing. I had the email and tracking order to hand for said parcel and proceeded to show the lady, she then told me that the number on the email was wrong and wasn't in fact the tracking number which I thought was odd as it was the exact number I have been using to track said package for three days. After explaining this to the lady (honestly felt I should be getting paid as I seemed to know more that this crazy woman) that it WAS in fact the tracking number she continued to argue with me as she didn't think it was, I guess upon hearing this a younger and frankly more competent lady came and explain that what I was saying was in fact right and the number on the email which did in fact also state was the tracking number was in fact the tracking number! She didn't seem in the best of moods as it was bit after learning she was in fact wrong she was definitely in a bad mood. She proceeded to get my parcel much to her disgust and slammed down on the counter (luckily was nothing breakable). Her attitude was appealing and her pure arrogance and mood towards the situation was completely disgusting. Honestly I'm more upset for the younger lady having to work along side that miserable and completely rude dragon of a woman. My advice is steer clear of the post office (if you can even call it that) because you may well in fact be doing there own job for them and not remotely getting anything for it bar a terrible attitude and a headache for which caused by trying to understand why anyone would hire some so stupid. 🙄✌️

Great friendly service. If you arrive at a busy time then you will queue. Ignore the sheep whinging about social distancing, everyone is wearing masks so what’s the problem, don’t like it go elsewhere

I’ve used this post office for years and never been unhappy or dissatisfied. Yes, it gets busy. Yes, there is a difference in the demeanour of staff. Overall, I am happy to go there and will keep doing so.

FYI, the newsagents bit is a separate business so an employee of the post office can’t help you in the newsagents and vice versa.

I'm a regular at this post office and all the staff know me, they are always friendly and chatty and check in on what I've been up to. They know I also post very fragile items and are careful with my parcels. It can get busy at times but it's a post office so I'm not surprised and even on busy days I've only waited 20mins so they are working quickly and efficiently.
