Post office shut more often than open, shop still charges fee for debit/credit card use!

I was really pleased when I moved to the village 7years ago to have a local post office. Unfortunately there opening times very much depends on the day and how the post master feels.
My experience today feels like the last straw, when I arrived he was busy dealing with a customer at the counter, I stood there for several minutes before he turned round and said I would have to come back at 1 as it was lunch time and he had to go on the other counter. There was no one else in the shop so there was not anyone waiting to be served. My parcel just needed to be scanned and would have taken less than a minute.
This has happened before and I have stood there many times waiting for him while he is off doing who knows what.

Please correct your Post Office opening times online, indicated you are open until 1pm Saturday which is not the case.

Very friendly and convenient local shop! Can we have a bit more local produce, mayve farmers produce please! :-)

Lovely staff and always happy to help. This is a small village and family shop so sometimes the PO has to shut when you don’t expect it. The staff juggle their work and people need to be patient, it’s a village and not a city.

Useless we stood at post office while post master stood doing other things and totally ignored us for several minutes,. would have walked out but had to send item.
Expensive and miserable in there.

Be useful if it was ever open. Check opening hours before leaving as seems to update daily that it’s closed today but open for 3 hours tomorrow.
