Royal Mail Gosport Delivery Office

Been using there services for many years, haven't had any problems with my delivery's. Only advise is walk to the delivery office rather than drive, as parking is appalling.

Parking is limited and wheelchairs access can be restricted by car parking limits.
It is better to park near as on road parking and car parking local are very restricted.
Visit the coop and do a little shopping before or after visiting the mail office.

Disappointed with this company's service now, multiple occasions including today apparently a delivery driver has been, well myself and others have been in and haven't been out the house and definitely the door has not knocked or the door bell ring, if the staff feel it's okay to just throw in a piece of paper and say they have been without knocking i suggest not working at the company.

This office is run by donkeys for some reason tried to delivering a parcel to my house even though 2 days before I put in for a redirection to a shop now it's back at the office and can't get it

On a personal level this Postal office is fantastic. Royal Mail do an exceptional job and have always been willing to go that extra mile. When things seem to go wrong it is always the other delivery company’s that don’t have the delivery skills and knowledge to deliver and sort as this Royal Mail office. To this date over many years, I’ve lost or had Zero items not delivered or go missing from this sorting office. Keen to help if parcels are troublesome, Friendly and considerate. Thank you all for a great and at times hard job that we the customer rely on so much.

They dont seam to read who the post is actually for!!
My separated wife re directed HER post however they decided to also redirect my post too.
Was getting no post for weeks it happened 3 times and I complained 3 times before it was eventually sorted out wasting time on the phone and going to the sorting office in person.
They where re directing my solicitors letters, pay slips, credit card statements, everything, even a p60 and pension statement had been re directed to the separated wife.
I asked for compensation due to the stress and due to the sensitive documents that where being redirected to her and they refused.
Just shows their customer service is terrible a small good will jesture would at least made me think that they where actually bothered about it.

Staff lie!
As simple as that, twice during the last year I've had "Red cards" through the door, but I was in all day every day shielding during the pandemic, (So how could I not be in?), delivery staff just write these out, do the rounds as quickly as they can, (leaving these cards rather than knock and waiting), then knock off early, leaving the customer, (who has usually paid for delivery), to then do their job for them, this is born out by the many complaints about the long and frequent Ques at mill road, surly not everyone is "Out" when they call.......

On mulitple occasions they have tried to "deliver" my packages. Im ligit in my flat with 2 other people did not here a knock, we have a door bell didnt hear that and there wasnt even a slip left behind. How can u be a postal delivery service when u cant even deliver a package. Ridiculous.
