Aylesbury Post Office

Welcome to Brexit Britain under Tory rule in a Tory led council with fully privatised royal mail. Out of 6+2 self service desks only 1 opened on Saturday, when people actually might have time to deal with their important correspondence and renewals. At the same time "In its financial statement for 2021-22, Royal Mail reports group revenues up by 0.6% to £12.712 billion and adjusted operating profit up by 8% to £758 million. Among the divisions, Royal Mail's domestic operations saw profits up by 20.9% to £416 million" so SORT THIS MESS OUT AND START FUNDING OUR ROYAL MAIL WORKERS AND OFFICES PROPERLY! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!

Consistently understaffed. Today they decided to close at 4.30, an hour earlier. For town of this size, this is the most shockingly mismanaged branch at a prime location in the middle of town. Do better Royal Mail!!

Only two staff for very busy post office, I say two but only one lady was doing all the work, the other lady was clueless. Definitely need more staff & ones that know the job

Always very very slow, never enough staff on and the self service kiosks are often turned off at busy times. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes just to post a letter

Two staff on six desks,the indian woman I was served by couldn't even raise a smile . Rude find another job

The staff members were rude and failed to provide a good customer service as well as staff member over charging and not where no name badges

This place is always badly understaffed, but at least the staff who are there are usually pleasant. Not yesterday (11 January 2023). Grumpy moo demanded £5.55 to post a jiffy bag containing a delicate 7-inch fairy doll. Said it qualified as a parcel since it was ‘nowhere near’ thin enough to fit through a letterbox.

Patronizing rubbish!!! We've been regular eBay sellers of these dolls for 7 years now, so I think it's fair to say we know what we’re talking about. We left without sending it. Apologies to our buyer.

Went to Waddesdon post office instead today and were served by a friendly, sweet lady who charged the correct £2.85, no questions asked. Far superior service.

Never open! There's no point checking opening times online as they just close when they want. Everything I've been they are either closed due to no staff or shut early. Today was the most frustrating as the staff were there, royal mail even there collecting post, but would not accept any customers.
