Bath Road Post Office and Newsagents

Lovely and friendly post office. Never have to wait too long.

Website says shut at 6pm... Paid to park my car and they had already shut the tills at 5.28pm... Poor service and a seriously not happy customer... and CHANGE the times on the website if you are not going to honor them.

At 9 am on a beautiful Sunday morning I have just had the rudest service of my life from a man running the shop. I am in this shop and post office around twice a day so I am a local. When buying a paper and stamps in the shop I have been accused of hiding / stealing a card (bought in Morrisons - already written on, awaiting a stamp). He then didn't take the papers pre paid voucher into account when totaling what was owed, when I pointed this out he started rambling on and because I didn't reply to this he launched into 'oh well such and such isn't good enough for you.....blah blah'. I have no idea why this man spoke to me this way today but I consider this review as reporting the matter.

Really rude man in the shop - I walked in, on my phone, and was berated by a man standing at the counter who told me I had got too close and became verbally abusive. I explained that as an NHS doctor I knew about safe distances and I apologised if I had accidently got too close, even though he made no effort to move but just stand there talking to the staff and expected customers to move around him. He cotinued to be really abusive and stab his finger in the air at me while telling me off. He was so obnoxious and just a complete prat. I think he may own the shop? I was too tired to argue and left, I will never shop there again.

This is a great little post office despite the chargeable parking being a chore simply to use your local shops for 5 mins.
