Blackheath Post Office

The bearded old man behind the counter is very rude and his customer service is of extremely poor standard. I took in some Ebay items that I had prepaid the postage through paypal and he was very aggressive in telling/shouting that I should have purchased postage through him, I reasonably tried to explain to him that I did not have the cash and that it would take too long to access the funds from my paypal a/c to be able to send them on time,hence why I used the paypal postage service. I understand the reason he was annoyed but he should be taking this up with Royal Mail rather than ramming it down the throat of his customers . I now avoid this post office at all costs as he made me feel very awkward and intimidated, it was also very embarrassing as there was a long queue of customers witnessing the whole situation

What has happened to the post office? Rude, snipey, dirty, unkempt staff person. More interested in slating men than doing the task. Didn't get the answers to my query as she wasn't really interested in helping.
Retraining, a bar of soap and a toothbrush very much required!

Avoid at all costs. The 2 ladies are a disgrace to Royal mail. How an earth have they still got jobs. I have never known such rude and nasty staff in a customer facing role. Will never use this post office again.

Meh both here and McColls run by rude people who I don't know how ever got there job! Avoid like the plague! Here and the shop!

I'm not sure where the bad reviews come from on here; I've just used this post office ID verification service here, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The lady who served me was kind, courteous and extremely helpful.

The ladies at this post office do an amazing job under often difficult conditions . I have never found them anything but cheerful and helpful.

Extremely rude staff. I have no idea why these women are still employed in a customer facing role. Very patronising, argumentative and disrespectful. I had very bad experience on 2 occasions before but my third one was the worst. The woman who served me, not only had no intention of trying to stop another customer raising his voice at me, trying to ridicule me and swearing but encouraged him to continue with his verbal abuse. After her encouragment the situation escalated and made me fear for my safety. I will not be back to this awful place again.
