Clarendon Street Post Office

This is my favourite Post Office in the area. The ladies are always helpful and friendly. Julie often offers me her advice on best ways of sending packages, saving me money; it can be quite a lot for the international packages.

Rude and jobsworth staff.
Went to post a parcel for my mother who is poorly with Covid. The staff decided to close a minute early, and wouldn’t let me in. It would be nice to see some of the goodwill so many businesses are displaying during this time... but in fact, the opposite when it comes to the sour faced woman working here.

I ran into the post office five minutes before closure.
My package was not ready to be sent and the ladies helped me wrap it and put a postal label on top.
Extremely helpful customer service!

This post office has really good service. I am very very happy as they were very helpful.

Absolutely appalling to say the least. Zero customer service. The shear lack of enthusiasm or motivation was mentally draining for me personally. The whole 5 minutes I was in there the woman couldn’t even crack a smile. Surely the owner of this store should read these reviews. Anyway upon asking a question about printing postage labels. Received a blank stare followed by a judgemental and uncouth reply to say the least. It was almost like she enjoyed making someone feel stupid as if I should have already known. shall not be visiting this place of business again

A quick service at the post office. Usually not crowded.

There were comments previously about the staff being rude. However, I didn't experience anything as such. Maybe the employees have been changed.

I try to avoid this Post Office as much as possible. 2 out of the 3 ladies working there are an absolute pain.
For example, if I have a large letter that fits through the letter box with a little push they will say it’s a parcel and overcharge. Or if I want to send a parcel they always offer you the most expensive options first. Are they receiving a commission out of each item?
The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because the older red haired lady is nice and welcoming.
