Royal Mail Stockwell Delivery Office

Used only once so far and this was my first time. Parking outside after 5:30pm. Queue moved pretty quickly even though there was one staff. He was polite and helpful and very well mannered.

Came along at 4pm as the time on Google said its was open till 7pm. Get there to find they have changed opening hours but haven't bothered to update it anywhere but their front door.

This place is idiotic. The reason people miss parcels and have to visit this sorting office is because they are at work during the week. So opening hours of 8am-4pm Mon-Friday are useless. Besides, the opening hours are wrong on Google maps. It should be open 7-9pm each weeknight. This week I waited all week to collect my parcel, turned up on Saturday and the office is closed due to strike action - totally shambolic!

Opening times are totally unreasonable if you work a 9-5 and go out on Friday night (like most people do), making parcel collection incredibly difficult. They were not updated on Google when I checked but thankfully someone here has uploaded the notice they have outside their door.

Furthermore I met several workers outside asking if they could quickly rush in to collect my parcel shortly after it closed, and they were not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude.

On internet you can see that this post office is closing at 2pm and reopens from 4pm to 7pm. I was there at 4 and it was already closed. No help from anyone and nobody seemed to care that the information given is wrong, if you need to pick up something important good luck. Such a bad service.

Heaven help you if you have to go here to collect a parcel...
There might be a good reason why it takes them 4,752 years per person, causing queues of hundreds of people down Wynne Road and round the block.. but I can't understand what that reason is.
If anyone at Royal Mail ever reads this, please explain, thanks

Awful service. Postman provided a card through the door without trying the bell first. Then I cant pick the item up from here because they shut at 16:00 on a work day...you cant make it up. The phone line doesnt work either.

Waited 30 minutes just to be told my parcel is not there despite me being given the card saying it is. Absolute joke
