Royal Mail Wandsworth Delivery Office

Every single time I order plants, instead of delivering then, they leave a red card and when I go to get them from the depot it's closed...before closing times.
Can they just not leave the package like every other delivery company?
Also they constantly lie about "nobody being at home" when they haven't even press the bell.

Totally useless. Packages which don’t need to be signed for not left in safe place.

Update 24 October - closed today because of strike action tomorrow? Good luck ever getting anything from this place.

New opening hours which again are not on Google. I feel like they change on a weekly basis.

Saturday closes at 13:00 not 17:00

Royal Mail like to pretend they’re a courier company by e.g sending text messages to say your delivery is on its way, but not once has anything ever been delivered when the text message says. More often than not, RM contracts out its work to you for free by having you do the last stage of the delivery yourself. Good luck with the opening times, erratic and usually when you’re supposed to be at work. If they want to emulate a courier company, they should look at what their competitors can do with fewer staff and less infrastructure. Or they could just deliver the post, like they’re supposed to.

THIS PLACE IS NEVER OPEN!! YOU NEVER HAVE THE RIGHT OPENING TIMES ON THE WEBSITE. Sometimes it literally a handwritten note on the door saying “closed” at random. Really frustrating!

FYI the note today said closed 24/11/22 and 25/11/22 hope this helps someone before they make the journey there.

Would help if the website stated when the office is closed rather then saying its open and me going 3 times for no reason.

Totally useless. Don’t attempt delivery and just put a slip through the door. Delivery office has abysmal opening hours, need to be unemployed to actually make it there. Don’t forget to bring your hard copy ID otherwise the jobs worths in the office won’t give you your parcel - essentially accused me of forging a passport digitally to steal!

The worst delivery service I ever experienced.
And the people are rude and refused to help although going to them twice but they refused to help.
