Hampton Hill Sub Post Office and Stationery

Fake addition to Google Maps. Got me feeling like Mo in the many The Simpsons sketches, where Bart prank calls him. Why would someone create a fake PO? Before there was one problem, needing a PO to deal with, now there are two... Sad thing is, it's not clear the creator of problem one would like the owner of problem two, or vice versa, so, who exactly has gained from this?

I have recently started to use this Post Office again after new management takeover. Vastly improved in every way. The couple who manage it are pleasant, friendly, efficient & a delight to deal with - always with a smile. The shop layout is vastly improved as well, less cluttered, clean & tidy. Makes such a difference & a pleasure to come into this Post Office.

They are a lovely couple and always friendly - however recently each time I have gone into the post office one of them has come out onto the shop floor without a mask and chatted and sometimes thrown their voices over the heads of all of us customers wearing a mask and trying to keep safe! If they could both take more precautions on the shop floor I would really appreciate it.

On multiple occasions I have noted that when posting something they always price it on the higher 1st class rate and mention the price only after printing label etc. So looks like a habitual practice. Please make sure you ask the price first. I Will never use them again as I have a genuine local office who are more loyal to the customers and don't try to rip off.

Deserve less 1 star , man working there , been two times there and always his really rude , Also the place not clean and not tidy . I think Hampton hill deserve better post office then that .

I did struggle to breath in this place due to the heavy burning of incense. Very smoky in there

I have visited this Hampton Hill Post Office branch on a few occasions and each time I have found the gentleman that works behind the desk unhelpful and rude, I was returning a pre-paid package and he refused to scan it properly, said it didn’t work and was too faint, and refused to try again even though I asked him twice to try.

I left and went to the Hampton Village branch, they were friendly, happy to scan it and help me with a collection item, so it was resolved with them.

I’m not sure why he’s refusing pre-paid labels packages but I did over hear him trying to upsell insurance on packages of an extra £50 for the two customers in front of me, who didn’t ask for that and seemed a bit confused to why he was pushing extreme extra costs for sending packages.

Couple in charge here operate very slowly, and they regularly overcharge customers for parcels. Smell of incense is overbearing too. Thanks to them I'm now using Hermes, which is a better, more efficient alternative.
