Post box - Royal Mail (Amersham Museum)

This impressive Royal Mail post box is the largest one I've seen so far which is mounted into a wall. It's been nicely repainted so is looking really good. It's mounted on the shop front of the Amersham Museum in the wide High Street of Old Amersham. I often visit the Orvis shop opposite and have never noticed this big box before, probably because it's normally obscured by parked cars. Access to it is good for both pedestrians and motorists, though non local visiting motorists probably won't notice it as it's mounted rather low.
