Post Office Dalston

Genuinely horrendous experience - I actually dread going in here. There's someone always kicking off. Some of the cashiers are genuinely mourning their life; are mainly miserable, curt and quick to anger. Inspiring me to go with UPS, print labels at home and go to my nice, friendly corner shop!

The wort post office I have ever been to, and I have been to 4 post offices.

No matter what time of day you go, this post office is always packed! It takes forever to make it through the line which clearly shows there’s a lot of people needing to access the service. Despite having five tills, I never see more than three people working there.

Hire more staff!!!

This is my local post office and I wish it weren't. They don't have much customer service ethos and seem to rather view customers as a nuisance. They also close at midday on a Saturday which is not very helpful at all, and don't open sunday. Sometimes they've even been known to close earlier than advertised which is super annoying if you've made the effort to get down there.

I arrived at the counter to collect my Amazon delivery. A lady was serving me, she was very slow first of all I which I showed understanding in. Then, when the order was given to me, she was being rude with the way she was answering my questions. When I picked it up, she screamed at me and said “leave it I did not tell you to collect it” I was super confused because she left it on the table, then I responded “why are you shouting, cant you say this nicely”. She then said “people like you make my day worse” I was super frustrated and annoyed and decided to leave immediately with my package. This behaviour is unacceptable and I wish the post office team takes immediate action to this stores workers.

Long queues not enough staff unhelpful and floor Walker staff dismissive

It was not busy today, which should have been great. Some staff absolutely fine but I would AVOID this post office if you don't want to be smirked at or shouted at by other staff. A really horrible experience.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered, the staff need to be sent on customer service training courses, or better still they can pop down the road to Kingsland Road post office where they can show you how it should be done. Failing that, if you really hate your job that much you could always leave and audition for the part of scrooge in Christmas Carol.
