I have also attended this post office on Saturday at 10.30am (website advised 9-12 opening hours) and it was closed. When I re attended on Monday, Lady advised my parcel is not there however I have confirmation that it was delivered there now it’s missing. Quite disappointed to see the comment below advising they are open everyday 9-5.30pm as it is not true.

So disappointed yet again.
As previously mentioned, they close whenever they like without leaving a note. I’ve traveled to this post office 3 times each time online it advised it’s open however when I arrived it was closed. Customer service is horrible everyone there looks like they don’t want to be there, very slow and rude.

I just visited the post office. totally disapointed! I went to pick up a parcel from Amazon, which was delivered yesterday. There were two Ladies serving the customers. When my turn came I aproached the window and told the woman Fatma that I have a parcel from Amazon to collect. She started checking some handwritten books and stated that my name is not in the books. I showed he my ID. she said she cant read my name?
She said my name is not in the handwritten book so my parcel is not delivered.
I showed her again my pick up code and repeated three times that the parcel is from Amazon and i am sure that it is delivered yesterday at this post office. She said " move away from my window!". And she looked to her colleague with a coment " whats wrong with this lady?"- I would say whats wrong with Post Office hiring a customer service like Fatma who cant read my name, have rude approach and cant do their jobs! what are they paid for?
Then her colleague told her that she is looking in wrong book. She finally asked for my pickup code. I had to tell her several time number by number but she kept entering the numbers in a wrong way. I am speachless! so I had to move to the next window to wait her colleague to finish with the customer and to have my parcel.
I am speachless of how rude and highly incompetent this Fatma woman is and no kindness or appology to admit that she made a mistake after she saw that the parcel is there. If she was the only customer service person I would have ended wondering where my Amazon parcel got lost, starting calling to Amazon, going home and then checking with the post office again or loose my payment for a the parcel!
Just because this Post Office hired a customer service woman who cant read my name , misinformed me and on top of it was extremely rude!!!
I am filing a complaint.
So for people who use this post office for picking up Amazon's parcels please do not waste your time with Fatma! she may tell you that the parcel isnt there because she doesnt even know how to find your parcel and you will spare your time and being a victim of her extremely rude approach! She ware glasses and serves left window
I expect the post office to investigate and put in order and teach her customer survice people to do their job but not to waste my time!!!

Nice little post office, staff are polite and very friendly. I've rarely experienced long queues, and I have gone on various days and at various times. There is a lovely convenience store inside, which has a wonderful selection of your everyday household items...

The two ladies that where at the desk today at 16:30 definitely need to be replaced as they not willing to serve customers… specially the short dark hair lady gets paid for doing nothing, being rude and ignoring customers…

Beware!! Beware!! Beware!! They make up their own prices for delivery and don’t follow the Royal mail website. Older man with white hair and white beard is very rude and verbally abusive if you try to ask why the price is different.

I have complained to the post office service about this place. The wording of my complaint is as follows:

“I was overcharged for a parcel delivery.

I showed the person prices per the Royal mail website.

They refused to accept that they had overcharged me or to even look at the information I was showing them. They got very rude and very aggressive and started insulting me. I did not swear or insult or make it personal.

I was trying to send a medium parcel which is within the size limit and weight limit per the Royal mail website. I wanted to send it second-class not recorded. I should have only paid £6.95. Instead I was charged £7.95.

My issue isn’t the £1 extra I paid. My issue is this person was very disgusting in their behaviour towards me screaming and shouting and refusing to accept that they were incorrect in what they charged me.

This makes me concerned for other customers who do not speak English well, or who will get confused because of a mental illness, or who are elderly, because they will be paying any amount that the person on the till gives them and won’t know how to speak up.

As you can see in this case, I did try speak up and refer them to the Royal Mail’s own prices on the website, and still I was not listened to. Instead I was shouted at and embarrassed in my own local post office.

This incident took place on the 27th of October 2022 at approximately 13:15 pm. I was served (rather not serve but insulted) by an older gentleman with white hair and beard wearing glasses.”

I regularly send letters as part of my job. I did a drop and go with 13 larger letters to be sent special delivery, and all to be signed for. The fee were certainly taken from my post office account, however none of the 13 letters reached its intended destinations. So someone at the branch made sure money was taken from my post office account, without actually processing the letters for special delivery. Circa £35.00 fee taken for nothing.
