Sunbury Post Office

Long ques and unhappy service.. guess thats what we expect when we think of the post office. Problem is that we need the service, i wouldnt go back again if i was writing a review on a restaurant.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE FOR CHECK AND SEND PASSPORT SERVICE . Staff have no knowledge about how to check the mistake on your form so you pay for nothing and its highly likely that your passport application will be rejected . I thought I share my experience with you.

Checked online to see what post office could renew my driving license as my passport had just expired and I wasn't able to do it online. Had to drive a good 30 minutes to get to this branch only to be told the service hasn't been available for six months. I asked why they haven't removed the details from on line and he just said he's asked the line manager many times to do it. Basically palmed me off just didn't seem to give two hoots. Our post office services are so bad.

Would not recommend this post office. Went over to draw money out to be told they hadn't got any. Staff are always on their mobiles went they serve you. Kids running round. Will not go back.

They do not do passport digital check and send. I specifically came here based on information entered in the Royal Mail website. Waste of time.

I missed a visit to my local Post Office at Spring Corner Feltham today whereby the Staff there are always friendly and always give a great service so I "Googled" for other nearby Post Offices and Sunbury Post Office showed with a closing time of 5.30pm today which suited my circumstances.

Sadly delayed I arrived at 5.20pm. I only had 1 item to post which needed weighing and a signed for service, which due to previous experience the process takes less than 5 minutes so I knew that I had enough time before closure if there was no queue.

5.20pm - The Post Office was closed.

I made enquiries with the shop Counter Staff:
They informed me that the Post Office always closes at 5pm on Saturday due to COVID-19.
I said I understood but questioned why this was not on the website?
The gentleman said he did not know and asked me to write a review "as the more people who do will hopefully help to get the website changed".

The result being my husband drove me to the Post Office at Hanworth Road, Hounslow, TW3 3UA. One gentleman covering the shop and Post Office counter who was very polite, friendly AND really fast. Thank you.

Good Post office for all your postal business. Could be made tidier and less cluttered. Modernisation in some areas.
