Terrible service! No receipt given for parcels sent and then they magically go missing which leads to not receiving refunds!

I am led to believe this Post Office has changed hands and they used to be on top of everything and so helpful but now it is hopeless. I tried to buy stamps at 8 am the other morning and was told 'she isn't in yet'. I asked what time the counter opened and she said 'when she gets in and was told the main counter opens at 8.30am. The don't seem to have opening times as such and this does not appear to reflect on the virus situation as that wasn't mentioned at all.

Brilliant young man on the counter very helpful as this was my first time going out in 14vweeks I had to tax my car no problems with any distances

This is the worst post office I have ever come across. I was waiting in a long line to use the service and was at the front of the queue for a while. One of the workers was taking his time laughing and not paying attention to what he was doing whatsoever while attending to the person in front of me. Then, out of no where he tells the person behind me in the queue to go to another desk in the shop to be served? I had been waiting longer and what as the front of the queue. Although I am well aware of the reason as to why he skipped me and decided to attend to this one person in particular I will give the benefit of the doubt and not mention it. Some serious work needs to be done when it comes to customer service here.

Not sure if they are short of hands, you always need to wait for a long time. Also, they always suggest you use most expensive services. They suggested me to use Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm®, I told they it was not so urgent and can take time. but They said that is the only service. Later I found I could use Signed For® 2nd Class which is only £2.06 and what they suggested was £6.85. Please thinking about your customs instead of you making money first.
