Red Lion Road Post Office

Perfect example of why not to privatise the Post Office. Only one person to serve in the shop and the Post Office most days. Last time I went in they only had 19 large letter stamps (I needed 50!). Staff agree it is an issue but owners couldn't care less. There is an elderly lady who works morning at the office and they don't even provide a chair! Needless to say I refuse to use them any more

The people running this post office need to be investigated for fraud. Despite package blatantly eligible as large letter pricing (this individual feigns attempt to pass package through large letter sizer) I was charged greater amount of parcel pricing. They refused to let me demonstrate that package would easily pass through large letter sizer.
Not the first time this has happened to me. These people are systematically ripping off people.

Only open until 2pm Tuesday to Friday. Closed on Mondays. They haven't bothered to update online.

Multiple times they have tried to overcharge, not just once, and then when you pay by card it states 'cash withdrawal'.....

I had a parcel redelivered to the post office as I knew I would not be home. I went up there armed with the red card left by the post man. I showed it to the man behind the counter and he asked for ID.. fair enough. I showed him my bank card he said he needed photo ID. I pointed out that it says a debit card is sufficient on the redelivery card. He said he wanted photo ID. I have cancer and I am going through chemotherapy at moment, walking is painful. I mentioned this to him and he just shrugged. I had to walk back home to get my passport. I will never be shopping in that store ever again

Great and fast service! I went here to drop off parcels numerous times and prefer this to the other post-office even though it is closer to me. There is a big charity box outside which is handy too as doing a spring-clean at home.

A nice friendly place, they just need a better system. If you want to pay by card and there is a customer at the post office, you’ll have to wait for them to finish so you can pay, because there is only one card machine.
