Holloway Road Post Office

Dear Vimal
I've been a customer of yours for 22 years. You have been so very helpful over the years. But this afternoon when I came into your post office and asked the lady at the counter for two stamps she accused me of having walked out yesterday with a card without paying for it. Yesterday I bought a 70th birthday card for £2.49 (I still have the receipt). After that I spent a long time looking at your London postcards, considering sending one to my daughter who is at university in the north of England. I chose not to buy one and left.
I asked for an apology from the worker who accused me of theft and she refused. She was adamant that I had taken something without paying. I said it wasn't true and she shrugged and said "I don't care." I complained to another member of staff who knows me in the hope that she would apologise. She said she wasn't there so couldn't apologise.
What on earth is happening? How can two workers treat me like this? I felt so sick that instead of buying my stamps from you I went along the road and bought them at the little grocer's as I was so deeply hurt. This is really wrong. If I come in would you let me have an apology? It is a very serious matter to accuse an innocent, loyal customer of theft.

Awful service! Every time I go into this PO to post something back to Amazon there is an issue. Today, yet again, another issue trying to send something back and on top of this, the lady at the counter was rude. I definitely will not be going to this PO again, and I would advise others to find an alternative if you can. It is a real shame because it taints the great work that Royal Mail staff do on a regular basis.

I have a very pleasant experience each time I go to this PO. Nothing is too much trouble, especially Lacy, always busy but always has time , very efficient, helpful, approachable

Nice and helpful staff, but staff vaping behind the counter while they were serving me was quite a surprise.

Local friend has been using this Post Office for about 25 years and always praises the great staff and service here. They are all brilliant including Vimal, Lacy and Krishnan. Always a smile, brilliant swift service would not go anywhere else... and the cards are excellent too!

The old man that works here is so rude , how the other staff put up with him I have no idea . The ladies are always polite and friendly.

First time using the Post Office on Holloway Road. Great service, sorting out my car tax. I had tried several other offices and they couldn't help. Both the lady on the phone and her manager were very helpful and knowledgeable helping me resolve the issue I was having. Thank you so much!
