Royal Mail - Sutton

This delivery department does not offer great opening hours. Some are only in the morning to mid day. We too have jobs to go to. The postmen sometimes do nit leave cards which means…..no parcel. Even if you can prove that the item was not delivered but is in the depot for collection without that card you are nit leaving with your parcel which means it is sent back to sender. If this is the case why is a card not left. Is this a deliberate joke from disgruntled workers to spoil our day? Because this happens too often for my liking! There is also NO WHERE TO PARK. I will end this review with an even more annoying fact for this establishment the opening hours stated on the website has so many different hours that one does not know when it is actually opened. As the times change the older ones should be deleted. You would think, right? No. There are numerous opening hours that state eg Mondays it is closed, no wait opens at 7am …..or is it 8am. PLEASE GET THIS SORTED! With all the others appalling failings this should be a straight forward thing to correct. I don’t hold my breathe as I dint even think anyone reads these reviews as based on the complaints written years ago I am still experiencing those issues today. It’s Monday today and I don’t have a clue what time it is opened or if it is closed all day. RIDICULOUS!!

Visited this morning to collect two parcels. Lovely bloke at the counter, parcels weren’t there due to back logs and not enough staff.
I get it, shall re-visit at some point see if they are there. Overall they do a cracking job but companies don’t often look after the ones that work their arses off and are loyal.
These are naff times for most at the moment a bit of patience and understanding goes a long way. Thank you ladies and gents for all your hard work always, it’s easy to criticise when we aren’t doing the job! x

I went online to check if they were open and when I got there it was closed due to strike action. It would have been nice if they had updated their info online, as I wasted my time going there and my money to park my car.

Thanks to your strikes I never received my prescription today , your greed for more money supercedes people's health it seems. Sack the lot and get people in who are desperate for jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks royal mail!!! Useless

Shego (forgive me if I put it wrong) who is working on Sutton delivery office on counter is the best Royal Mail worker that I encounter with so far! 5* for him, always polite, with smile, positive attitude and that nice jazz music played in the background! All the best!

We used to have two fully functioning post offices in Sutton. Now we have one barely managed counter in WH Smith's, which is hardly fit for purpose. Be patient. Be prepared to queue for a long time. But assume there's still no guarantee you'll be served before they shut up shop for the day. Whoever manages this post office should be ashamed of themselves. Deplorable.

The staff is polite and helpful, they don't offer all the services provided by the main post office on the high street, but it's less busy and caothic. 5 stars only when they will issue a receipt when something is returned, they allow you to take a picture of the return label but it's not how it should be.

Just picked up a parcel no queue, showed my ID, and they found it for me all straightforward and simple guys are friendly- but my late hubby was a postie
