Teddington Post Office

I'd like to think I know a thing or two about customer service. I don't like giving bad reviews unless I've experienced multiple unsatisfactory levels of service. Praise in public, berate in private. Unfortunately Post Office Teddington in the last year has had 2 employees with poor (verging on unacceptable) behaviours. Rude, abrupt and disinterested. Both 50+. Verbal english skills are lacking with too much mumbling, I have to ask them to repeat. Something needs to change.

To management: Training and culture. Issues start from the top and filter down. There's no smoke without fire, the reviews here speak for themselves.

The younger gents they do well and should be applauded. Well done.

Queues are too frequent. The 3rd employee needs to jump on during busy periods. That's basic workforce planning. Prices for packaging are good hence the 2 star.

Consistently awful customer service, I'm always polite and friendly yet they seem annoyed that they have to serve me. The lady who served me today was hostile and blunt, she was huffing as she put my postage through, and I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. 90% of my visits are negative, staff always seem to resent having to serve.

Poor customer service, the desk assistants don’t want to speak or help and can be somewhat impatient and abrupt. They literally want to do a routine process and shove you off. Some training on etiquette needed.

They've had my parcel for three blummin weeks. Lost probably.

Wasn't very happy with how they recommended services to my partner. Offered her the most expensive delivery service costing 15 pounds (for posting a letter) when they could have offered a cheaper delivery for 5 pounds. I feel like they took advantage of her because she's only just moved to the country....not very impressed if I'm perfectly honest

They have some openings hours advertised in the front door, however they tend to don't let you in 15 minutes prior the closing time.

Every time we go in there with and we ask to pay into our business account (it’s Cashplus bank and the post office definitely can provide a paying in service) it’s always “sorry we dont do that here” even though they do, other post offices do it and depending on who serves you. Just lazy. Don’t take what they say as gospel when they say it can’t be done. It can. Should just re name it “we don’t do that here”

My partner posted a £10 game today which he wanted sent 2nd class. Was charged 2nd class special next day delivery by 1pm for £7!
They always give you the most expensive option every time you go in.
