New Malden Post Office

Received great service from Mo. I needed to renew my driving licence as unexpectedly had to travel by car in December 2021 that evening. Their renewal kiosk closes at 17:00 even though the office closes @17:30. Mo was very kind and still processed my application @ 17:05 in 2 minutes flat even though I could see the system auto-shutting down. Thank you!
I also needed to post something urgent today and even though there was no one attending the self-service posting area, Mo helped again by leaving what he was doing and completed the authorisation process. Thank you again! Folks, look out for the guy called, Mo; really helpful.
NB I don't write reviews at all but was compelled as I was given a 5 star service: friendly, efficient and polite, which is becoming quite scarce, sadly. I've been in customer service for the past 35 years and know when I receive good service and am also not an easy one to please, have high standards. Hope the New Malden post office keep improving and holding on to first class service standards.

I enjoy coming here. There's a lot of desks open. Self service available. So really helpful. Staff for the most part are helpful and friendly which makes a difference.

My only complaint is at times it van be so busy and the closing and opening times don't always match up with what's on the door or online/website.

Do not waste you time going here, went in today to for advice and guidance on sending off for first passport, as soon as I stepped up and greeted the female cashier she ignored me, didn’t give eye contact. I informed her of what I would like help with she spoke down to ne. I have an audio recording of the whole ordeal (which I will be uploading to social media). Absolutely disgraceful treatment zero customer care or service.

The actual post office is dirty, dust everywhere, filthy glass at the counter I thought I had walked into a crack den.

From the reviews left this is clearly normal behaviour of this individual so I’m wondering why Royal Mail have left her in a position to regularly abuse & demean customers??????

I went to take photo in their photo machine, although I did everything right and pressed try again, it printed the photos which were not very good. Then I approached them asking that I need proper photo, it doesn't help me. They say we cannot do anything. If your machine is not working properly why you are keeping it there then?

I recommend going elsewhere if you don't want to be ripped off. Check the size and weight of your parcel before trusting what you're told. They have tried to over charge me too many times now I'll never use this post office again.

Had many problems at this post office. Or weight was put randomly so postage was underpaid, or they tried to charge me for small parcel when it was actually large letter. Or just I was rejected service because “parcel can’t include return address on same side as receiver as it will confuse Royal Mail” and was treated with cold look when said that even labels printed via Royal Mail website have on them return address just beside. People who work there treat this job as punishment, are slow and will definitely make your mood worse. Also somehow once had problem that parcel was delayed for few days because someone just didn’t scan it or it was lost between all the things behind counter. If you have any post office on your way or can just spend some time to go different place believe me - just do it.

I've been to this post office over 5 times, as I need to post items from my place of work, and every time it has been an awful experience. One particular woman behind the desk has over charged me by at least £10 multiple times, one time it was so bad my colleague had to return with me to argue about said overcharge, only for the woman to lie to my face about what happened. They are always understaffed and incredibly rude. One star is way too good for them. Shockingly bad.
